I think this is the first time I've gotten all the species in an Animal Crossing title without thinking about it too hard; the banded dragonfly from ACGC haunts me on occassion
I snapped up that pond smelt mere minutes after the date rolled over; I think I was wayy too eager

At least there’s no achievement tied to it outside of the NMT stamp, unlike the golden tools for the fish and bugs. Would be cute if we got a special golden wetsuit or something after completing it!

Dung beetle SHOULD be my last bug but I missed a couple rare summer beetles so it'll be a while before I do

Yeah finishing the fish was nice, of the three hunting ways in this game fishing is my least favorite

Finishing the bug and fish collections has always been so sad for me. Like it’s over...I’ve seen every bug and fish in this game. No new ones. It’s done.

I'm both excited and know I will be nostalgic about catching the last couple of fish and the last bug during the weekend with my S/O. Makes me wonder if new ones will ever be added in future updates!

Made me so happy to catch a pond smelt. I remember that being the first fish I caught in the gamecube game (Got it for Christmas so winter was the first season for me), and now it's the last fish I caught on the switch game. It came full circle.
