I've played Wild World, City Folk, New Leaf, and New Horizons, and this is the first time I've caught and donated all the fish. It's pretty much entirely because they stopped letting villagers move out on you without permission. In past games, whenever I stopped playing for awhile, it basically meant I stopped playing for good. I would occasionally want to go back, but I wouldn't because I didn't want to risk setting in motion the chance for one of my favorites to leave. It's such a simple change, but it's made the game so much more accessible for me.

Four Players completed their fish collection for 2 museums. 2nd Island Player 2 took awhile to get her Stringfish.
Player 3 on that island has to wait till March to complete her fishing collection. Started on August and doing no bait challenge.
Last night she caught the Stringfish on fish 10. She's very lucky with fish/bug but has a hard time diving.

It felt sad for me. Because I have nothing to check on the first day of each passing month.

I've only completed the deep sea critter one. Im missing one fish and the chungus beetles on the others.

It kind of sucks you don't get anything from the museum after completing the exhibits.

congrats!! i completed mine yesterday and honestly, the whole thing feels sort of surreal aha; feels like just yesterday i was waiting for my copy of new horizons to arrive in the mail and now i’m so, so close to completing the entirety of my critterpedia + the museum! it’s bizarre but i’m definitely proud of how far we’ve all come and how much we’ve accomplished this year! :’^)

It's such a good feeling! I completed my fish and diving catalogues both on the first as well. Between these goals I basically never have to fish or dive again.

I really can't wait to get a dung beetle and get that one out of the way as well! I'm not even close to the amount of bugs caught, though...

If I remember correctly, I have 3 remaining fishes that I can catch this month and I think it will be the first time I ever completed in all the games in the franchise.

I am still missing the blowfish. But I also need the last achievement where you have to catch 5k fish and a lot of fish models. I think I'm going to focus on getting those this month.
