Whenever stuff like this happens I always put fencing around the area that I am working on so that way they don't come near the area I am working at. These villagers don't have respect of boundaries or understand the meaning of Construction.

I was so close to doing that. Literally one was naruto running back and forth so I couldn't even push him far in one direction.
Gods above I had forgotten how long the whole tutorial section of the game takes to get through! It's a bit of a slog. I'm talking about the time that needs to be invested in order to unlock everything... even if you hurry, it still feels like it stretches on for ages. I do wish there were a way to say "I already know all this" or "I've done this before"... the time-gating was necessary when the game first came out, but the release was years ago at this point. Almost three years, even!
Restarting my island has reignited my interest in the game for sure, and I'm excited to have a new island to decorate. New year, new me, new island, lol. It just felt like time for a fresh start. But on the other hand... the work ahead of me is also kind of daunting...
Also remembering how obnoxious the text prompts are for traveling. It feels like you have to tell Orville a dozen different things just to go visit someone, and if you mess up the dodo code or pick the wrong option, it ends the dialogue entirely rather than just kicking you back to the previous option menu. I've always thought it would have been better to have separate counters for local and online play, or just a form you can tick certain options on, since Orville does mention paperwork. I dunno, it just seems like a weird design decision to do it the way they did, and then leave it that way, presumably indefinitely...
You're not alone, friend! I wonder why it hasn't made another appearance. It's one of those things everyone has been asking for, practically since day one.
I miss the little designs on the tree stumps, too.

2023 and we still don't have an option to turn off tutorials. That annoys me in general with most other games and ACNH is one of them that doesn't make you skip tutorials.
Right?? I can't remember if New Leaf was like that, but it still boggles my mind that New Horizons has this problem. I don't want to claim I understand the ins and outs of game coding but it doesn't seem like a totally impossible thing to do, and yet... here we are, lol.

Why can’t they give out one of each fishing tournament prize before giving out repeats. I restarted my second island and was looking forward to getting two of the prizes but I keep getting repeats instead. I really just wanted a fishing rod stand and a fish drying rack for an area I wanted to create but now I’m just to tired to continue trying . Maybe better luck next time.

It's ridiculous that the Wheat Field item is not a DIY -- I've got all this wheat but I can't use it to craft some Wheat Fields??? BONKERS

I HATE the Gyroids and am still pretty angry that they were added back into the game! They are the sole reason I can literally never get all of the Fossils in NL. One Town I think I only had to find five missing Fossils to complete that part of the Museum and I couldn’t ever find them because those hideous useless things took up all of the digging spots each day and if I did find a Fossil it was a repeat.

You need a fish drying rack? I just got one from this past tournament. I’ll be happy to give it to you as I really have no idea where I would put it as it is not what I’m trying to use as a theme.

Leif's Weeding Service is so useless because you need to have at least 300 weeds on your island in order to use it. Why did they have to make it so restrictive?

If you really don’t need it I would appreciate it very much. Thanks so much. Anything I can get you in return? I am making a fish market and bait shop by the pier and the fish drying rack would be perfect for it.

I really hate trying to find villagers around the island. Most times they are outside and sometimes they are inside buildings (the museum sucks because its so big and they can be in either exhibit rooms)

To this day the villagers still talk about the same reduant stuff ever. (yes I know this topic is said so many times and I know people are tired it by now but still) How many times do they have to say:
"Oh its nice seeing a Streetlamp"
"Have you ever been inside (insert villager name here) home before?"
"I like your clothing"
"Do you know what kind of hobbies (Instert player name here) likes?"
This happens EVERY TIME when I speak to them this is the type of stuff they say and its really annoying and whenever you talk them they REPEAT the same converstaions you literally had yesterday with them as if to say their memory got restarted.
