Call me Negative Nancy if you wish but I was disappointed...

The first few articles were more like monologue rants than actually articles/reporting. I could have easily done my homework and read Shakespeare or look at my posts to get the same result.


As for the reviews...

The ones I read (didn't read Sporge's) were bad.

The story starts out with a little boy named Kai who hates Elebits.Why? To make things more interesting, his parents research them. One night the power goes out all over town and Kai's parents leave him home alone to go check it out. (Isn't that child abuse?) NoWell, since his parents aren't home he goes to watch TV but he remembers that without power you can't watch TV. So, he decides to go into his father's lab to get the capture gun so he can capture the Elebits to restore the power all over town.How did he know the Elibits were the problem?

Also... what are Elibits?

I'm hoping HM for Wii will be as good as the original, on N64, and not as "meh" as the Cube ones. I think the Wii controls will be able to spice up the HM series a bit. If HM doesn't turn out well, I'm hoping MP8 also is more like its older versions (on N64) than the newer version (4-7 on Cube), which were almost exactly similar to the previous one, with "new" minigames and boards... even though it all played quite similar. MP, which once was the icon of creativity and uniqueness, went down the chutes in my opinion thanks to its Cube versions, and I'm hoping motion-sensing controls can revive the franchise.

I don't remember what it is called but don't give words nicknames without previously addressing them (i.e. Harvest Moon(HM))

I thought MP meant Metriod Prime for a while.

Also mini games is two words.

Call me what you want or ignore this post but it is the magazine who loses.

Don't hold me accountable for reading a typo when I had no way of knowing.

I'm not complaining either, I'm disappointed not angry.

I may or may not be able to do better but it doesn't matter. I don't have the time to do this and continue keep my schedule.

But I might join and contribute.

I don't know how old you are, but obviously there will be a difference between, for example, Sporge's review and Gengar's review... Sporge is in college, and Gengar's in middle school.

Why would someone would expect anyone who has 6 or so years less of education to be at the same level writing-wise as the person 6 years ahead of them?

I'm going to compare that to a sports story.

There was this autistic kid on a High school Basketball team. He was the team manager.
He played for the first time with four minutes left in one game at the end of the season He missed his first shot but scored 20 points afterwards to win the game.

For Gengar's level of education his review is great, but why should that be an excuse for him not to try to get even better?
