[Thievius Raccoonus]

Hello everyone,

I'm just going to be posting assorted stuff here from drawings/sketches to poems/stories and more. Please feel free give me tips/advice and the related, but keep it within the rules (of course). Without any further ado, I'll be posting my first work, which is an untitled poem:

Clouds may hover low and gray
However the sun?ll shine on a new day
For when things are shadowed
The light will never be towed

All we need is to look ahead
Even as we lay in bed
Yet we all look just at the now
Never questioning the why and how

Have you ever looked around
From the sky to the ground
Noticed the birds flying with great height
As grass struggles to grow with all its might

Yet all we do is kill this wonder
With acts louder than claps of thunder
Sending up dust and smog
Killing everyone and everything with a poisonous fog

So how do we stop
Before everything goes plop
Listen to the sounds of nature
And how even great beasts mature

Let?s take a step back
And see what minds we lack
While removing the errors we have made
Cause Mother Earth needs out aide

Now is the time to clean up our stuff
Before the world goes up in smokey puff
But we?re too busy passing the blame
When we all know we should be sharing the blame

Cause right now the timer starts
As we shop in our marts
For supplies and comforts
That sail to and from various ports

So let save one more tree
Allow an extra beast to be free
Just take at least one tiny step
To give our planet some more pep​

Well, here's another thing I just created, please note that right now it's just in a penciling. I might go back through and ink/color it digitally. However, this is just Redd and Blathers talking to each other with Redd showing Blathers something he "found".

A few days ago, I was watching gameplay videos from Shadow the Hedgehog, which got me to thinking about one of the quotes from Espio the Chameleon: "Every day is another chance to prove yourself." Therefore, I decided to try to make a banner/signature involving it.

Art I would look at forms, refs, and scales. i am an artist but not too good XD Just using a reference and keep trying, it slowly gets better. Also don't limit it to what you see IG but try just going for it and making a style of your own. Blathers a bit small size as on a higher platform then Red and the arms could use some work.

To Seek Your Answers

Looking around we see things we cannot understand
And how we react to such things can tell us who we are
Do you try to shield yourself and get the unknown banned
Or do you, maybe, seek it out be it near or far

People everywhere are either searching or hiding from the unknown
However, which person is truly the safest and which is the wisest
Is the people who leave such undiscovered mysteries alone
Or the ones who are willing to face, headlong, into these surprises

Throughout history there has never been any clear cut answers
For every time something is found it brings both good and bad
Though does that mean that wrong are we to trust the advancers
Or does that mean we need to adventure out, even if it’s just a tad

The answer can only be found inside of yourself
For nobody else can tell you what you’re here for
Whatever you do, don’t put yourself on a shelf
And offer yourself up to the rich or the poor

You are you and they are they
Only you know what you need to seek
Yes, others could help but also put you at bay
While setting sail with you on a boat that has a leak

With these thoughts in your mind
I am going to leave it up to you to decide
What in this world are you to find
Before your time here starts to subside​

Finally got around to checking this out.

I love all your work, especially that Fang banner! c:

The only piece of advice I can offer (since I'm terrible at giving advice) is when making a banner, always make sure the text stands out. That's my major problem. I only recently learned how to fix it thanks to some friends helping me out. You can add things like highlights and drop shadow effects (if you can of course) to make the text really stick out from the background. Nothing is more appealing than words that pop. Being able to match the background is also nice!
