I learned about the eccentric strongman and occasional wrestler The Great Antonio. Apparently once he wrestled Antonio Inoki, who got angry at his performance and just started stomping him the ring.
In addition to feats of strength, Great Antonio also liked singing and wanted to tour with Tiny Tim.
Interestingly, the Wikipedia page only has a pic from when he was young and not the disheveled long-bearded look he was known for.

There was a news special(60 MIns I think) about high school girl who got a head injury playing volleyball and that night at a sleepover she began acting very strangely. I basically cause a complete reset of her brain. She had total amnesia, no memories of her life, friends, family, but also had to relearn EVERYTHING. Walking, talking, social settings. One friend said that one day in class she tapped her on the shoulder and asked "Who is that big guy and why is he so loud?" She was talking about the teacher. She had completely forgotten the very concept of being in class.
Pretty wild. And of course doctors wanted to study her to find out why she had basically a total mind wipe.

Also I hope this thread actually becomes somewhat of an established thing, because I think it's a good idea. I tried making a similar thread a few months ago and it ended up sinking to the bottom, so I wish you luck on this one.

Santa is also parsially based on a group of people in nordic country that distrubuted psycadellic mushrooms through people chimneys in the 1000's

I learned that if a present is floating on a balloon near a cliff in AC, you can just use a net to hit the balloon from up top and pop it, in order to get the present (learned this the other day, but forgot to post it, lmao).

OK so I found this out of curiosity. I love watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and was curious if there was any with a plus-size guy or girl (or both). I did some digging, and this was the only one I could find.

The lady is supposed to be a plus-size model in this movie, but personally, she doesn’t look like one to me. Maybe technically she is…but I wouldn’t guess she was one. Still, I think Hallmark needs to get with the times. Only in Hallmark land are there more tulip farmers than thicc people.
