I suppose so. I'm good at opening/tinkering/fixing small game consoles like the Gameboy, DS, 3DS etc. I have yet to work on a Switch but I'm sure I can. I see so many people experience a small broken part and toss it out and buy a new system. Often times you just need a new part for a few dollars and some handiness to replace it. The 3DS Circle Pad was a big one. I replaced a few of those including one for a friend.
The person below me is considered a Millennial (born within and including 1981-1996). I'm barely one myself.
Nah I was born 1999, but honestly most of my childhood was influenced by millennials so I would say I'm in the loop somewhat. Its soo weird for people who were born 1997-1999 its like they're in this middle place lol.
