The Deep Wolf isn't relevant to talk about rn because starting the "Witchhunt in town" is a bad idea. I regret making that post. That being said there is a person I think wolfing who is being townread rn. I'll bring it up if I feel it'll be an impact to the game further than that, but leaving that vague and letting them post is better because more reads for later.

contradictory. if you see someone being wolfy why wouldn't you point it out? and also, a deepwolf isn't really a bad thing to mention this game because we haven't established a town core entirely, and there's a lot of back-and-forth discussion going on, so it's easier to take them down now then it would be later.

Like I get the perspective and argument of him being mafia, but I find it difficult to imagine without anything solid. I went though his posts last night and he has legitimately interacted with everyone barring Geoni/Arstotzkan. But maybe that's meaningless without a solid flip.

I feel like a dan wolf is something that we can approach later. with your chances like those we need to sit on it idk

Nah I don't know if I have the capacity to kill him right now. Nobody has really put anything forward on him, it's all just kind of been the ~vibes~ that a hard town player is a bad guy.

And yes, Oath could just be frustrated towny. But there's always the "what if" when wolfreading someone. You can't just "what if" all wolfreads because then you never get a wolfread.

Dunno, using my nonsensical scale he's dropped to like 65% in my head as being mafia just because I think I annoyed him to the point of saying something with a modicum of town motivation. Ender is right in that his frustration can swing either way, but that's outside my point of view. If I had to pull the trigger at this second I'd still have him on my mind.

Yeah Dan just ain't it today. Nothing he's done or said is that bad. His spat with Ender made me raise an eyebrow for reasons I can't articulate that well.

At this rate I'm questioning everything, but I'm willing to give these players a pass for the time being: Tessa, Ender, Volt, Geoni, Annika (?), Dan (?), Jacob (?)

If I'm honest I really just can't pin anything on RibbitRibbon, but of the players I'm unfamiliar with I can't really shake my gut feeling on them. Annika gives me this weird ick with their quirk of saying everything with a hint of uncertainty to it but its nothing I can really comment on.

Tbh for Arstotzkan, I feel like our reads on her are based on the entrance she had at day start. But she's only been around for the first 24 hours of the game, so reads on her are just stale. She's probably a true null for me at this point but idk if she's gonna come back today

If we're going to form a "towncore" then we should probably start to think who is realistically the most town here. I made a list on paper lat night of the players that I don't find inherently town and then I narrowed them down to the 5 names below.

I said earlier that one of these 5 has mafia: Oath, Arstotzkan, RibbitRibbon, Volt and Ender. The order of those is in the way that I want them dead. Considering Arstotzkan has a chance of dying no matter what, I reasonably think Oath is the best choice. RibbitRibbon, Volt and Ender all have points that make me think they're town and I'm reluctant to consider them on this list. If not them, then these players need to be considered:

Jacob, Annika, Geoni.

How do we feel about this? Is there a more solid "box" of players that we could create for PoE? I've already outlined why I'm not including my personal TR's on this list.

everyone has been (for the most part) universally tring them and they have been tring each other. there could definitely be a maf in there we could miss.

i agree with ender that searching deep wolves early is a fools errand but i think it's a good point that no towncore = no deep wolf. i like to see tessa actively thinking abt the gamestate
