i agree with ender that searching deep wolves early is a fools errand but i think it's a good point that no towncore = no deep wolf. i like to see tessa actively thinking abt the gamestate
(random addendum but it's something that geoni is currently lacking to me)
how is that useful lol
if he flips mafia i guess yes but if hes town, in the case we vote for that reasoning instead for actual reads, his death means little to nothing
yeah i agree that trent hasnt done much. felling like my benefit of the doubt expired
also i guess i wont need to dissect tessa since shes here now yipee
Theory crafting at the moment; if Trent died and flipped mafia, then that clears Dan in my eyes. There's not a scenario where wolf!Trent and the team consider killing Dan tonight if they want to discredit him for future days.
If I'm honest I really just can't pin anything on RibbitRibbon, but of the players I'm unfamiliar with I can't really shake my gut feeling on them. Annika gives me this weird ick with their quirk of saying everything with a hint of uncertainty to it but its nothing I can really comment on.
I think volts logic was that Kat will day either way, regardless of alignment. if maf nice but if town then there's the potential of losing an extra town that the setup did not originally account for (assuming 2 people can die a night)
yeah, there's a good point in that, I'm just anxious to kill off some mafia. but I want us to feel confident in who king kills today so that we don't have to worry about kat mod kill
i dont think i really understand anything that is going on right now, i feel like my brain is mush like genuinely. nothing i reread stuck and i mostly had random commentary but i'm really struggling to build my reads.
can someone give me like a tldr of who hates who rn but all i can point out is oath/ness which is dissipating and i see them both as town
oh i missed this trent interaction
I really don't love anything from Trent so far. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I understand that we have different opinions on how day one should be executed, but this alongside other posts that just feel like there's a lack of actually trying to solve makes me read trent more maffy if anything
i'll see if i can try to pull up reciepts

the reason I said I didn't town read Trent anymore was because today he has done very little to push anyone or try to move the game in any sort of direction. He has this odd fixation on Chris's read that 1 of Ness, Trent and Me are mafia. Even though there were more people active start of day and that's so long ago. And despite his fixation of me or Ness being maf, he has done very little to explore that thought process for himself or others. He says he just has a general gut distrust in me, but has never pushed me further than that.
He also says he isn't active today because 3 slots are inactive (Geoni at the time, Tessa and arostotzkan), but (a) those two being inactive shouldn't stop him from engaging and reading the rest of the player base and (b) those two slots shouldn't have anything to do with solving Ness or me. I would think he would make more of an attempt to solidify his read on me, but it hasn't gone anywhere. I don't see a drive to solve people's alignments at all. He says there's nothing to go off on bc 3 people of 12 alive players are inactive which I think is weak

Tessa has very little info for today but what I've been waiting for was the expiation on why she chose to kill Chris out of the other options she picked. I don't think anyone had asked her that at the time. I think she's town based on the EOD still.
Checking in during my break, just to say @Geoni better vote before they leave again otherwise they're wall posting for no reason
Also you know what vote for me, I want to kill Dan. I think that would actually be the most useful going into Day 3 given Dan's interacted with just about everyone

Which is still not even halfway through our allotted time if we keep missing.
D2 is early.
And for the record, there's been a VERY strong towncoring of Dan/You/Ness up until there was some doubt about it today. D1 was basically the three of you sitting in a flower circle while everyone else was relegated outside.

okay yes for D1. As of now I am adding Volt in my core with Tessa more on the lean side but still high up there. I'm also adding Ribbit I think they're town

we were the most active which is the main factor
I think it's less about what day it is that's early and how many players we've lost so far. especially since Kat is going, and we're not positive that she's mafia.
yes but also ender hasnt been too specific on townreads
i'm just struggling to see mafia in the universal PoE and I think we should keep our options open
The general consensus on strong town reads have been some of the most active players which I don't think is as big of a factor to being town as it's made out to be in this game
