i hate ppl who think that every game has to be different i hope every AC game after city folk is exactly like it most of the time big changes in a game mess up the series (Example: Sonic) bettr safe than sorrySeiferA said:Actually, it's because most gamers around here can't enjoy a game unless it has a lot of action, shooting, etc etc etc. In Animal Crossing's case, they want the game to be a completely different game altogether. It's the same reason why they complain about Pokemon after a while ("We want a 3d Pokemon game in the main game line!")
Nintendo's philosophy has always been "If it isn't broken, don't fix it". They do that with both Animal Crossing and Pokemon, and though people across the seas complain about it, their home base in Japan never complain and love the games just the same.
Besides, imagine a Nintendo where they redid their games like how Sega redoes Sonic every 2-3 years these days
That has got to be one of the most accurate things I've heard about gamers and Animal Crossing in a long time! I think people feel that way about a lot of what Nintendo creates. Everyone wants everything they do to be like the 360. If you have a Wii... you're not going to get that. And if you expect it, you're barking up the wrong tree.In Animal Crossing's case, they want the game to be a completely different game altogether.

That's a great idea, that will really help out the people looking for a review to see if they should get the game or not. It will also get the site a ton of views.Megamannt125 said:yesZELDAFREAK104 said:What, would you rather wait a year for them to get a review out?

If I say sawry..Will you still get rich if I give you all my bells?
Ain't saying it deserves a 10. If you look at the review sites, most of them are giving the game 6-7s out of 10s because it's the "same old game".ZELDAFREAK104 said:Or because... you know... they actually played it and thought it didn't deserve a 10? Just a though.
No one said that wasn't a possibility. But the reason many reviewers believe this is because they want it to be more "exciting". Animal Crossing isn't really supposed to "exciting". If you want exciting, play Mario Galaxy or Brawl.Or because... you know... they actually played it and thought it didn't deserve a 10? Just a though.
