It looks like the males conquer in house placement. Because I was looking for a nice spot for Rosie, and she moved into a perfect spot that first time I used a male too. ._.

Well I in no way meant to imply you were wrong. ^^ I'm just trying to figure out what the exception to the rule is. Before that incident, my experience had been much more in line with what you spoke of. I just like sharing the potential info as it comes to help out anyone that might run into the same problems. This stuff is tricky to map out. :'D

You are much more patient than I am! I haven't gotten any dream villagers through trade yet, but when I do, they can move wherever they want because I will be too excited to see them to have the patience to reset!
