I'm doing the reset trick today without normals so I can get Marina, but she isnt showing up yet. I'm on the 7th day where its 100% to get a villager, and its getting late. If I wait until tommorow, will my game decide a villager even if I dont save?/will i be able to get plots tommorow?

I'm not 100% sure. I do not believe so based on the fact they would need to have a plot first before showing up.(And since you didn't save, that would be the first time the plots start spawning?) What you can do, however, is check up on the new alt. If the plot is fixed, time travel back to the day you last played (so, the 6th day?) Your flowers should still be sparkling if you watered them and what not. If they are, it's safe to load up your main as it can't tell you just aren't playing at a later time than previously. Just save and quit, and then time travel forward to the 7th day again.

I am interested if the plot is fixed, as I was doing testing on the 100% day before Kabuki showed up on the 5th day and kinda put a stop to testing. So, uh, let me know if so.

Blargg I'm going to have 2 slots open tomorrow so I'd like to get one filled today before a derpy villager ends up moving in lol

I'm going to try that trick where you log in on a new character first each day but I swear I'm doing it wrong...does the time have to be set to a certain hour for this to work or is it just the new day starts at 6am so you can log in anytime after 6am but it has to be on a new character?

It has to be after 6 AM as that's when the new day starts :3 My reset guide on tumblr will be updated with an amended version that clarifies that sometime later this week.
