Can you still move back to the normal day? Or do you have to stay at the date where you last time travelled? ;o;

You can go back to the normal date! Honestly, there's no risk whatsoever in TTing just as long as you keep an eye on your villagers. If you do travel by extensive period of time though, don't be surprised if a villager of yours has moved out!

I haven't had any issues tting back to the present day, but since it still counts as time passing you shouldn't do it all at once. If you go backwards like 4-7 days at a time to zoom back to the now you run a high risk of losing someone without notice.

Probably months or years at a time, haha. Maybe even weeks! I'm an avid TTer but I only go day by day just to be safe.

I think villagers normally give you a warning of 4-7 days or so before they move, so that can make you miss someone. I've heard horror stories of people missing them when only going 2 days at a time or so, but villagers are generally REALLY good at letting you know they're leaving. If they don't run up to tell you, you can normally find out by talking to other townsfolk. Little dudes love to gossip.

Yeah, you can TT however many times you want in a day. There's no limit. And going backwards in time usually has less of an effect than going forward does, but still be careful when going back to the normal day.

Yeah, I've heard of that from multiple people - that's one reason I go one day at a time, another is that Isabelle will tell me on the loading screen if someone's packed up to move in case I miss their ping and then don't see them for a few days or something. That gives me a chance to move them to my second game in case I don't want to lose them, she's so helpful
