I was thinking that i could build a thread in retail for animal giveaways like i would post all the animals in the town wait intl all are gone from people taking them and then reset and do it over again! But Is it safe to have two games on one 3ds Digital version and the card version?

The only problem is that you will not be able to transfer villagers from digital to card, unless you have another 3ds you can put the card in to transfer.

I was thinking of doing this with my bf's 3DS, but the physical copy is my main town in which I don't TT. That should be safe, right? Idk I'm having nightmare flashbacks to Pokemon Black/White where your FC would change if you switch the cartridge to a different DS. XD

Your FC would change but I think you would still be able to transfer, if you have the FC added to both devices. I haven't personally tested it, however. Probably need to talk to someone who has done it.

I highly doubt it. the FC code is universal for every game you play. Notice that you don't have an FC for each character you play, only for your 3ds. So, if you move your card game into another device, of course it would change, but I really don't think it would mess up your game. The game almost seems independent from the FC, only using it to connect with others wirelessly.

Nope. I have a digital copy that shares a 3DS with a physical copy.

Sometimes the gates act up when I open them (other person doesn't see them shwoing as open), but the fc is fine.

Probably not. It affects everything.

Should be fine, because if you didn't load up and save in the digital copy, it has no way of knowing you TTed.

If you TT'd in your hard copy, the time in your digital copy would, I think, stay the same, unless you are changing the time on your device. There are two ways to 'change your time', with Isabella or on your 3ds system settings.
