If it had to be locked it would work as long as you didn't mind updating it every time someone had a change. That could be a lot of changes, more than it's worth for you to keep up with. I wouldn't want it to become a chore for you. Boards worked with it, they'll work without it. I'm not saying I don't like it, obviously if used as intended it could be a great resource.

I actually PM'ed ChaosKitten to ask if she could put the link in the original post. Even if it's in my sig, people would still need to dig. But I thought about that!

Guys, this spread sheet may turn out bad. Let's say that someone will post on this thread to give away a neighbor that is wanted by someone on the spreadsheet (we'll use Static as an example), but someone who doesn't have their name on the spreadsheet gets him. The person on the spreadsheet will probably complain and say something like "awww, I had dibs on Static, look at the spreadsheet, that's not fair ". That's just gonna cause arguing and other nonsense that isn't needed around here.

The way Chaos worked was first come, first serve, don't post a villager until they're ready to go, don't claim unless you have a free spot. Chaos allowed others to do as they wished as long as it was a giveaway and not a trade/sale.

I thought that was already established? The spreadsheet is not a reserve system. People on the boards can get rid of their villagers however they want: first come first serve, ask for reserve, refer to spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is just a reference tool, not anything anybody had to follow or participate in.

Okay so I think this will make a lot of people realllll happy I bought a THIRD copy of the game, for the sole purpose of helping everyone get the dream villager they want. (I don't actually know why I am dedicating my time and money helping people out in AC:NL haha :T) I just really wanna help...*shrug* So here is how I will do things. I will basically constantly reset my town in this game, and list the villagers available. I will reset again once all villagers have been claimed

Now here is the list for my first town created!
Bunnie the bunny
Vesta the sheep
Erik the deer!
Moose the mouse

As usual, I will try my best to check this thread :T But I am bad at checking posts (especially on a busy thread) so just PM me ^^" Or I have skype if you prefer to talk there.
