No, you were fine to split it equally. It ends up being more fair since it means we don't need to work harder to put fairy dust into Serena or Farley to get their potion because they didn't get part of that 2400 fairy dust boost.
I have been donating to Farley, I do love the rose potion but the blue is just more magical to me. They are both gorgeous and I would hate anyone to be disappointed

I split it up equally because it was the fair thing to do for the community. I still think we should put dust in Serena. Many are doubtful we can reach both goals but I think we can. I'm surprised that Farley hit above 7200 thats more than hafway done to reach the Blue Potion

i'm personally going to be donating exclusively to farley until we unlock the potion because the blue one is my favorite, and i think there's a distinct lack of blue collectibles. of course that's not to say i won't donate to serena afterwards, but i would rather ensure one potion than neither -- especially since, iirc, it was stated in the op that the locked potion wouldn't simply be tossed away, it would be released during a future fair/event.

I’ve been donating only to Farley. He’s the one that has the most right now and I also like the Blue potion the best. That doesn’t necessarily mean I don’t want the rose potion. I want them both

First visit of the day gets me between 30-40 dust. Since some of the activities have longer cooldowns, I only get around 20 or so until the cooldown resets for all activities.

I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure everybody gets their favorite!
