Dude, this site is so active now, we usually barely cross 100 online members. People don't really look at pinned threads though, you can just make your own thread and if someone can help you they'll help you fairly quickly.

Before NH was released, most days there were only about 30 members on at any given time, and maybe 50-100 guests. The number of people online now is actually quite astonishing.

Dude, this site is so active now, we usually barely cross 100 online members. People don't really look at pinned threads though, you can just make your own thread and if someone can help you they'll help you fairly quickly.

I remember back in 2015-2016, it was far more active.

To second what everyone else has said, this site is more alive now than it has been in a while (the other day I logged on and saw over 250 people and was so pleasantly shocked)! Sometimes there are lulls in responses, but people are usually quick to reply, especially with the release of New Horizons!

I'm trying to understand different patterns and distance to place each flowers to get the maximum numbers
of spot availables.

It be easier if this place had a real chat room (not discord) so people can talk about NH and ask questions and
get respond. I need to figure out this flowers situation as it keeping my town on hold.

For hybrids, typically the X pattern works best? so there are spaces all around the flowers for a new one to spawn in:

X = flower, O = open space

X Pattern;

X O X
O X O
X O X

X O X O X O X
O X O X O X O
X O X O X O X

X = flower, O = open spot

Variation on the X pattern (good for multiple combos at once (eg. two red tulips in the middle row and the outer points are white or yellow)


X O O X
O X X O
X O O X


As long as you have plenty of open space for new flowers to spawn in, you should be set!

The site is actually very active compared to a few months ago. Your question might not get answered right away because nobody knows the answer. ACNH is still brand new and most people aren’t experts yet. I’ve been playing since day 1 and I still barely know what I’m doing lol x)

I can understand your frustration with not having your question answered, but there's no possible way you can be on this site and honestly think it's inactive. I've made a few posts before too that seemed to sit there with the "0 replies 1 view" status. As someone else mentioned, I believe it could just take awhile to update those view counts.

Checkered pattern is the best. I have gotten 8 hybrids in a day on new horizons so it's up from the max 6 on New Leaf. If you need more than one color to mingle(check a guide for what pairups you want). Line colors diagonally. So I have a spot for orange roses. I have a diagonal row of red, then one of yellow, then red and so on. No matter how many flowers you plant and how much you water(you have to water), there is a cap the number of hybrids you can grow in a day. It's a slow process.
