Hello fellow artists! I was wondering on your opinions on the Intuos Tablets. I am finally not broke anymore (yay XD) and I am really considering getting the Wacom Intuos Draw which is about $70 bucks (USD). Is it really good for beginners? Its the cheapest Wacom I could find, so idk. I really want to get into digital drawing and start doing commissions. How do you feel about Intuos Tablets and do you feel that this tablet benefits beginners?

intuos tablets are really good for starting out :D

it doesnt really matter what version you get though, it just depends on what extra software you want to get

Thanks! Thats true I was really considering just a simple Intuos and maybe Paint Tool Sai :3 Thanks for the input!

They're p good. I use one and the only issues I have with it are pressure sensitivity problems which can be fixed with some program I'm too lazy to find.

I got an Intuos Comic last year, which is $30 more than the Draw. I got it for CSP since I have a Mac and can't use SAI, and as a beginner, it's really easy to use! Maybe I'm just a noob and have no idea what I'm doing, but I haven't had to toggle the pressure sensitivity or anything. There was a problem with lag after I upgraded to the latest iOS, but a quick Google search solved it. But yeah, overall, I'm happy with it.

I've been using my wacom intuos 3 since 2009 or so and it's still awesome! I'd suggest trying to get a version of Photoshop and then downloading some nice brushes!

I just got the small Intuos Pro and it's SO GOOD.
It's like a dream. <333
It was like $260 thou

wacom in general is the best brand for beginners. personally, i have a wacom bamboo capture which i got refurbished for $40 on amazon. It looks and works like new and was really quite a steal. unfortunately, the seller doesn't do it anymore. You can try finding it, though, it's my favorite one so far. sorry for not really answering the question about intuos specifically but yeah if it's wacom you can definitely expect quality from it. and if you're looking for it cheaper, refurbished is the best option. honestly I don't know why people buy new ones when refurbished is basically the same quality and also comes with a warranty.

my friend has this and has said it's really good! i have another intuos tablet (i forget which one ; w; ) but it's really easy to use! i think this'll be a good first tablet

I have a pen & touch and love it :0 My only complaint is that the pen tips ware down really fast (at least for me) but it is probably the same on all wacom pens.

I've been using the same nib since 2012, I've been meaning to replace it, ( I lost the nibs I got) ;_; it makes a scratching sound and my bf can hear it through my headset everytime xD
