Thumbnail question/ help

So I'm trying to make a cool dA page, and I want to put my art into those cool thumbnails that you click on, and then it shows the picture in a bigger form.
Problem is.. I don't know how.

I want the cool border's and such on the thumbnail too.. hm.
Can anyone reccomend any programs/ websites that can turn images into cool thumbnails like that?

well what you could do is crop your image (and make it a separate file) and add a fancy border of somethin

Then you take the link to the full image and as the link title, you put the image code

Example-

empty code-

<a href="link to full image"><img src="link to thumbnail"/></a>
