To anybody buying a switch to play this game...

I think I'm going to cave in and get the Lets Go Eevee Switch bundle, unless a nice Animal Crossing themed bundle is announced in the meantime. It's about ?30 cheaper than if you were to buy the console, game and pokeball accessory thing separately, plus the limited edition design is very cute!

I already have a Switch. I got it back in April of 2017. I thought there would be an Animal Crossing in 2017.

The special editions are so pretty but I'm glad I got a basic switch. The plastic heats up bad and after about a year it starts to crack depending on usage, (let's face it, the AC crowd will USE the heck out of it). I don't want a pretty collectors item to get ruined and me feel bad.

I've already ordered mine. Found a nice deal with that eBay 10% off everything code and it was something I had been mulling over for a while so I just decided to pull the trigger. It's due to arrive in an hour and I can't wait!

2019 may be a way off, but I'll play BoTW and Stardew to tide me over until then!

A special edition AC Switch would be nice, but I'm not too fussed about it really. Already got the special edition 3DS and that's enough for me.

Woah, really? That's a huge bummer if that's true, I gotta look into that.



I don't really have the money to get a Switch just yet, there are some other things I need more urgently at the moment. (I also just got a new gym membership that is on the more expensive side, totally worth it for me but I'm gonna have to revisit my money spending habits now. ^^"")
Considering the release date probably won't fall into the first two quarters of 2019 (although I would be more than happy if it did) there's no real rush to get one for me right now. However, I'll admit that if I had the money to spend on it right now I would buy one sooner rather than later.

I'm pretty sure they're going to do a Switch bundle with the new Animal Crossing, so if I don't have a Switch by the time it comes out it's likely I'm going to get that. I also like the Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee one, especially since I already have the Pikachu 3DS XL as well. (I still need to look into that overheating problem though, that doesn't sound good...)

Yeah I saw this video and looked into it. It's not too bad but it's enough for me to not use a Special Edition one.

I hope if they do. The design looks like the animal crossing 2ds xl. I really, really like the green pastel colour. Originally I was gonna go for a smash bros one, but I think that limit edition looks really poor compared to the 3ds one :S

That is so awesome! I got mine on LetGo for $170 too with BOTW and couldn't pass it. I only wanted it for AC Switch, but knew it would be hard to find one again for that cheap. The guy said he played it for a week and never touched it again, it looked brand new!

I?m really hoping an AC edition of the switch will come out. My boyfriend was planning on buying us another switch soon, so we had set our minds on the Pok?mon switch coming out with the games. We?re probably going to end up with that one but I?m willing to shell out another $400 for an animal crossing switch. It would be great if we can find a deal on either for Black Friday

I'm torn. I was planning on buying a switch around the end of this year for Tales of Vesperia (coming out Jan 2019) but I also love the idea of waiting to see if there is a limited edition AC switch ... What to do? I guess I'll wait and see if we get a solid release date and go from there.

Planning on buying in on black friday online or something. I mean if animal crossing gets a special edition then I would buy it, IF it was the same price as a normal one, which I doubt... I want to get it as cheap as possible ahaha #student
