Top 5 wishes for ACNH

1. more interaction with the items/objects like pocket camp (it is fun to watch ^^)
2. more dialogue in the game, I don't want to hear the same conversation everyday
3. mini games like puzzle league or Desert Island Escape (I love it ^^)
4. I hope we can customize villagers houses with furniture they like (it will be fun to change their furniture according the event like Halloween, Christmas...) or at least adding some special items in their house
5. I hope we can write a letter to other gamers from other towns and send some items (pretty sure, it existed before in AC)

So agreed on cooking! Though the tt things would be a pain for speedruners.

Top 5:
5: Observatory
4: Expand on the coffee minigame.
3: Wii u / 3ds / possibly nintendo switch? Can be displayed on TV, and you can play those games on multiplayer, and they can watch you. Better yet, multiplayer minigames like desert island escape, acpl, and the cafe minigames to be multiplayer
2: PLEASE LET RESETTI AND DON BE IN THIS GAME I BEG OF YOU NINTENDO
1: Cooking MINIGAME. Not like the cafe from nl, but you press certain buttont to prevent the food from burning/being undercooked. And you could give your meals to dr shrunk

I totally love the ideas, I hope Nintendo is listening/watching ^^ lol

1. The villagers having more varied personalities. In New Leaf, I feel like I'm talking to the same person no matter who I'm talking to, because they all sound the exact same, despite having different "personalities." I'd love if it would be kind of like in the original where some of the villagers were rude to you at first (cranky and snooty), and you actually had to work toward their friendship.

2. Having more than 10 villagers on an island. In the original Animal Crossing, you could have up to 15 villagers, and being that the island seems really big, why not let us have more villagers?

3. Having more storage space in the closets. I suffer from the inclination to hoard everything in Animal Crossing games, thinking that I will one day find a place for it in my house. Sure, cleaning all that up can fetch you some nice money, but having more space would also be a solution, especially being that there are probably going to be the new dress types from Pocket Camp and I'm going to end up hoarding and never wearing a lot of those. They're so pretty!

4. New Hairstyles. I know we've got one, because of the girl with braids in the trailer, but I'd love to see some more. Sadly, we're probably not going to get the wigs from pocket camp as hairstyles because some of them wouldn't shape around the hats (the bun and the ponytail are too high up on the head), so those will probably end up being wigs if they get added. I hope they do add more than just the braids, though.

5. Friendship "progression" with villagers. This is two ideas in one, so I'll explain the both. First off, I want the villagers to be able to form friendships with each other, where you could see them talking and they would talk about each other more often. This would also work the other way, where villagers could be enemies. I feel like the villagers don't ever seem to interact with each other, so I'd love to see more of it. The other side of this is that I'd like for the MC and the villagers to do the same. Where at first the villagers aren't really friendly with you, and as you talk to them, do requests for them, and send them mail, they become more friendly with you, giving you an incentive to actually do stuff for them.

- Improve more on villager-to-villager interaction so it won't feel robotic
- Larger map and number of villagers
- New villagers, fish, bugs, and deep sea creatures

Well, that's it for now, might add more later

1. better dialogue
2. better control over villager house placement
3. more interactive furniture and ways customise furniture. i haven't played pocket camp but i've seen a lot of screenshots and i'm hoping a lot of the new stuff make it into NH
4. more mini-game type things
5. i agree with everyone on a travelling carnival type event. i'd like to see more unique events that aren't all based on real life holidays too!

and extra, continued amiibo card and figure capability. i don't know if this was confirmed because i haven't been up to date with news on the game but it would suck if all those RV cards i bought wont have a use in the new game XD

1) That there will not be additional purchases other than the game.

2) NEW FACES along with keeping the old ones (not that any NL face or previous title face is bad I just think it’ll be exciting to have new faces)

3) Longer hair, new styles. all the NL haircuts seem to be short even the ones that aren’t held up in ponytails. I want longer hair in NH and I want new styles.

4) Special NPCs like Isabelle, blathers, Reese, etc.. live on your island.

5) Bring back old stuff from older ac games like morning exercises, Observatory, Master Frillard, etc..

6) I know I went over 5 but I wish that the whole cloud save thing would go away and resetti would not be out of his job :(

I've been brainstorming aka fangirling to an unhealthy extent, and I came up with 3 at least that I would favor the most all varying in importance by each number.

1. I'd want there to be a more implantation on friendship levels with villagers. Implementation that will allow for more options to appear when speaking to a villager after a period of time that flesh out each villager more. Options as opposed to just simply being "What's up" and "Goodbye" will also include "Do you want to come over" or like there of depending on your friendship level. Likewise on the opposite end if you're one to always smack around a villager with a net they can actually choose to not talk to you at all. It'll cause a feeling of progression I think, and would quite tasty whatever that means.

2. I know it's more island oriented, but with Isabelle returning, if public works projects also return I'd like there to be more, and a better system overall. Ask yourself in New Leaf didn't you hate it when Isabelle gave you sass about where something can go? Well with a tool provided to you upon being with Isabelle called a "Blueprint" that can change. While with Isabelle upon finding a location to place something she'll instead give you this "Blueprint" that when selected will make a grid like line around the location, length out to maybe where she is standing. This grid like line will act as the happyhome option when arranging furniture for the outside allowing you to move, flip, and place the project where ever you please so long as its in that grid.

3. More online integration, and interaction without necessarily being in another person's town or having them favorited. Meaning being able to interact with others online almost always, and indirectly even. Little things like simply sending mail to another town, or a balloon package that can travel around the world anywhere. There can also be a main server acting like a bulletin board that can be seen by everyone. In this instance say ItzNotNatzDuh above me is in desperate need for a super toilet. They can then go this bulletin board, and post "Yo anybody got a super toilet? Here's my mail code." Then I can go to my own bulletin board specifically connected online, and say "Well what do you know I've got 8 for some reason" then from there I take the mailing code, and mail them a super toilet.

Those are just some idea of my own. I know it's not 5, so I've failed you, so I apologize, but that's all I could up with.

In no particular order.

1. Animals be able to wear everything from dresses to skirts and shorts. Not fussed on shoes/accessories, but I do hate how all varieties of tees just become sleeveless tees in ACNL.

2. Choice of northern/southern hemisphere setting. Let me experience AC's winter during Australias winter!

3. Real life weather sync. I find the games to be extra enjoyable when the weather matches what I'm seeing outdoors IRL.

4. Let me place patterns under a buildings door (I do hate it that much that it takes a spot here lol)

5. Bring back notes in a bottle, Boondox and flea market days from WW. Oh, and the dump from the GC game.

YES! I agree strongly in all of these! Especially 1,2 and 3 (I am Australian so I understand the frustration lol) Thanks for sharing!

All of these replies so far (I have read all of them) have really good points and ideas in them! Thank you to everyone who has shared so far, its very nice to read and think about (especially if you are impatiently waiting for the new game) I Really hope to see at least some of these in the new game!

1. More areas to explore like caverns, other small islands, shipwrecks, etc.

2. More events like festivals, concerts, maybe a cooking event, holidays.

3. More mini games for playing with friends online and local.

4. Introduction of vegetable items, never understood why they only have fruit.

5. Events that are tied in with the weather feature. Maybe a storm washes treasure ashore, or a hurricane causes damage to items and houses on the beach and you have to spend some time making repairs.

I'm actually super hopeful for this, because as far as I remember from the direct + trailer, they haven't actually shown any of the interface for talking to villagers yet (ie whats up, goodbye). I don't think you should be able to see friendship level or anything, to keep it organic, but I'd definitely like more options to open up as you become better friends. Maybe at like level 1, you get a nickname, level 2, you can change their saying, level 3 suggest an outfit...maybe at the top you can help them rearrange their house a bit? Definitely would like to invite them places. If my dream of customization shops a la HHN comes true, it'd be awesome to invite them there!

I'm actually very hopeful for this as a feature. I don't think that the interface for interacting with villagers was shown in the direct/trailer, so there might be some cool changes! I don't think friendship level should be visible (since I think it feels less natural), but it'd be super cool if there were 'levels' behind the scenes...so maybe level 1: they give you a nickname, level 2: you change their catchphrase, level 3: you can suggest outfits to them, and so on...top tier might be redecorating their house? And I love the idea of just inviting them somewhere, especially if my dream of customizing shops a la HHD comes true. Imagine inviting a villager out for coffee, or to the library!

Of course, it'd be nice if the generated dialogue expands as you level up too, to keep the villagers a little fresher. Nothing crazy, just some unique dialogue designated for the different friendship levels. I'm not sure this would even be terribly difficult to implement, since they already have a method of tracking 'friendship' to get the photo.

Ship wrecks would be really cool! Maybe even being able to go on Gulivers boat when he washes up on the shore (assuming that of course he will appear again in New Horizons)

Vegetables would be flipping awesome! Hadn't actually thought of that one before, don't know why though

The weather one would be cool if it was done right: like there would be a weather warning and everyone would have to meet up in a set up shelter if it was a hurricane or something idk. I know that weather events are quiet controversial though.

My top 5 wishes would be:

1. New species of animals, preferably foxes and bats.
2. New flower types, such as orchids and chrysanthemums.
3. Bigger wallet size, someone earlier mentioned 999,999. That would be a good sweet spot.
4. More customization options for clothes and house exteriors.
5. More unique holidays, even if they don't reflect ones in real life.

Bonus 6. More weather types.

My number one wish was being able to place items outside so now that it's confirmed

1. More rooms in a house
2. More villagers on the island
3. Being able to design stores like Happy Home Designer
4. An actual thing for paths so we don't have to use QR codes
5. Being able to build large designs like a soccer pitch, tennis court, etc.

New furniture! New outfits! More interaction! An easier way to get golden things! keep the perfect fruit! NEW fruit !!

1. Let me send letters to my friends from my own town. I love sending my friends stupid meme-y letters + gifts, but I hate having to travel to their town and making it super obvious that I'm sending them something. Like, yeah it'd for sure require the online membership, but.... to play online with friends in general, you'll need it anyway... So like.... pwease.....
2. Improved diving mechanics. I know a looooong time ago I wrote a whole little rant on how much improvement diving needs lol, but it's still something I'm thinking about. Granted, we haven't seen any footage of diving shown, but I can only assume it hasn't been removed.
3. More eye colors. If we're wearing colored contacts anyway, why can't they be crazy colors, like pink, purple, or red? Please, Nintendo, just let me be uwu as heck with my pink eyes......
4. Bring back my man Woolio.
5. More new things! That's super vague, I know lmao.... But like..... specially I want to see more bugs, fish, and plant types. Let me get absolutely bonkers with my landscaping. To be entirely fair, though, I'm sure we'll be getting a lot of new stuff so this probably isn't something I need to mention, but boy.... i'm just so excited for it.

Oooh.

1) The use of Amiibo cards to bring in your favorite villagers (Wisp can be anywhere, right?)
2) A trading system that would make it easier to trade with other players.
3) I'd love to see the message in a bottle thing from Wild World come back, as we are on an island and it could happen.
4) Of course, holidays! I don't feel that they would be excluded, but it would be hard to explain how Jingle or Jack are on your island, unless they've been flying around with Dodo to every island!
5) Different dialogue for the villagers so every time I talk to them they have something new to say!

1. Support save data cloud.
2. Support save data cloud.
3. Support save data cloud.
4. Support save data cloud.
5. Support save data cloud.

1. Cloud saves. I still can't believe Nintendo would not allow cloud saves in a game like this! Hope they will change their mind.
2. A little town or hub with more shops than what we had in ACNL.
3. More activities to do at night perhaps more shops that open all night.
4. Ability to move or destroy/reconstruct all PWP. In ACNL stuff like the cafe etc wasn't moveable once built and sometimes later on you just realise there is a better place for that building.
5. Can't really think of a fifth one. Just generally more new things to explore like a cave or island hopping or something.. I'm just so excited!!
