Town Name Origins

My town is named Bayako since Wild World. It really doesn't mean anything, it's just something I came up with. I still use it since I don't know a better name and more important because I still like it.

My first GameCube town is called Schiphol which is the airport of Amsterdam, don't ask why.

my town is named beyond after a song from daft punk newest album random access memories

I was bored and thought it would be epic to have a town named Pikopikapakupukapaka

But that didn't fit

So I just went with Pikopika lol xD

my new town name's MoodyCat:)
one of my favorite book series is Judy Moody, and i want to fill my town with cats.

Forest. Not just because the game takes place in a forest or because the game is known as Animal Forest in Japan, but because my real-life hometown is nicknamed The Forest City.

My first town in called Wondrlnd because Alice in wonderland is one of my favorite things.
My second town is Fiore, which i stole from Fairy Tail. :)

Dave Lee Roth "this must be just like living in Paradise, and I don't wanna go home" was going through my head when I started the game. If I ever have time to run a second town it will be called Uberwald and filled with wolves. Fans of Terry Pratchett will get the reference.

I named my town Blue Bay. The name was always in the back of my head, but I didn't know if I really liked it. I thought it would be unique to have a town name with two words, and I felt that Blue Bay just fit my idea of my town perfectly.

My town name is called Meldon. It is a place in northern Dartmoor; Southwest England. It has a railway station and used to have a working quarry. Meldon also has a bid reservoir and dam.
You can see the reservoir here:

Tropica...

When Animal Crossing first came out on Gamecube in 2002, I realized it was like a tropical paradise, with many different neighbors,
and something new everyday. From that moment on, From the Gamecube to the DS, to the Wii, and now on 3DSXL, my town's name
has always been Tropica...

*Labelle whispers*

Oh right, and my townspeople say, it sure beats trying to think of a new name or asking Rover to think of one..."

Orchards.

A park 2 mins away from me is called The Orchard Park, because it used to be a fruit orchard with a mansion in the center of it decades ago, although now it's mostly chestnut trees that are left, and a tarmac park; replacing the mansion, where the STI-ridden 14 year olds hang out~

Citadel I didn't really realise was a popular name or used in much outside the Tale of the Mirror Quartet (where I found it) until I searched my town name at the Dream Suite. Then thought I'd plonk it in google. Either way, it just stuck in my head after reading about the city in those books.

Frosting I thought of myself just from knowing I'd want to call myself Jingle and it linking between a good name for a snow filled town (I kept my town in winter on CF for the longest time), being remiiscent of sweet icing, and beginning with F. Because I always feel I need to vaguely honour the Fruit part of my user. ~ Incase you can't tell my username means a lot to me.

LOL! Well that certainly paints a picture of what you think about your villagers. xD

I wanted my town to have the word River as part of it and because of the spelling restrictions I only had room for two letters and a space before River. So I first started with Ti, then Ko, then Ox, then Ki, and then Vi with Vi being the two letters I settled on. Which gave me the wonderful town name of Vi River.

Aww man, there's something really charming about the fact Tropica's been carried through the different AC games with you. It's as though it's the same town, just evolved over the years like the games have aha.
