Light sighed as he was dragged along with L, as the detective was trying to choose which cake to buy. They had been standing in front of the dessert case for three minutes and forty-two seconds, and Light was beginning to lose his patience.

"Yes Light?" L, also known as Ryuzaki replied, looking innocently at his companion. There were so many cakes to choose from! Plus, this was the first time he'd gotten to actually choose his own cake in ages, Watari was always picking them up for him.

"I would appreciate it if you wouldn't take this long to pick. Besides, we really need to get back, Kira could be taking lives this very moment." Light stared blankly at L. Sometimes, Light felt that he was babysitting the world's greatest detective.

"You're just being impatient, suspected Kira percentage up 5%." L muttered back, finally choosing 5 different cakes and paying for them at the counter. After taking them from the waitress, he started off towards the door, dragging a rather annoyed Light behind him.

The walk back was silent, and both men received strange glances from the people around them. The sound of the chain rattling seemed unnaturally louder to Light. He just wanted to get back to work. Fortunately Misa was out for a photo shoot, so she would'nt be around to annoy him. Light smiled at the thought of it. No Misa.

Ash stopped at the end of a path. It was about to be dinner time, so he set up camp for the day. He started to make different types of pokemon food, glancing at his watch every now and then. He went inside the tent and brought out some jars of spice to add to the food. He stirred it around and then placed the bowls in a line with labels on them.
"Alright everybody, come on out!" He said as he released his current pokemon. Krookodile, Charizard, Pignite, Boldore, Snivy, and Oshawott came out of their pokemon balls. They looked at the food hungrily, like they were the predators of a living being. Pikachu jumped off of Ash's shoulders and ate from the special bowl. All the other pokemon continued to eat until they were done. Ash cleaned all the bowls while the pokemon burped and then played with each other. Ash returned everyone except Pikachu, and then slept in the tent for the remainder of the night.

Haruka was walking home from school. All he could think about was changing into his swimsuit, diving into his bathtub, then staying there for the evening. Haruka looked up and saw a strange sight. A boy, no older than Haruka, handcuffed and dragged along with what seemed to be a hunched over, panda-like human? Haruka realized he was staring and looked away, doing his very best not to laugh.

L looked up as he heard laughing, and gazed at a boy who stood across the road from both him and Light, he tapped Light's shoulder and whispered to him "Light, that boy is staring at us, why is he staring at us?" His panda like eyes continued to stare at Light's head in confusion, then back to the boy, then back to Light.

Haruka watched as the two men began bickering to each other, frequently pulling at the chain to irritate one another. Haruka used this chance to slip past and continue on his way home, not daring to look back.

L froze, glaring at his companion and speaking, "Let's just go back to the hotel, Your stupidity has squashed the majority of the cakes i bought, Kira percentage up 2.5%." He then continued to walk away, not caring about whether or not Light was going to be dragged, or walk willingly.

Ash woke up. He put the tent away and cleaned up the campsite. As he was about to head a certain direction, he saw two men walking by each other. One of them seemed to be being dragged along, but Ash didn't know for sure. He ran up to them.
"Hi, my name is Ash. What are your names?" He said, holding out his hand for a handshake.

L looked curiously at the young boy stood in front of him, it seemed as though he had a strange yellow mouse on his shoulder. "Ryuuzaki's the name." Completely ignoring the boys hand and continuing to walk down the street. "Have to go, cakes to eat."

Light had pretty much given up, and allowed L to lead. After a few moments of silence, he heard a voice, and saw a hand stretch out to him.
"Hi, My name is Ash. What are your names?"
Light looked at the child, then slowly moved his gaze over to the rodent on his shoulder.
"Light Yagami... Ash, I must ask. What on earth is that creature on your-" Light never got to finish his sentence, as again, there was a tug on his wrist as he was dragged away yet again.

"Can I have some cake too? Oh, this is my partner, Pikachu. It's a pokemon. Pokemon are creatures that are used by trainers, like me, and have certain abilities and powers to attack with."

"Pokemon, did you say? Ah, now I remember. My younger sister Sayu has a Jiggypuff."
I love Pokemon too but.... but I guess Light doesn't uwaaahh x.x

"Go, Charizard! Use fly!" Ash said while throwing the pokemon ball on the ground. Ash picked it up and hopped on Charizard. Then he flew away on the pokemon. Ash landed next to the hotel he was supposed to meet the person at and entered it. He returned Charizard, went to his room, and unpacked his stuff.

"...Did that kid just summon and then fly off on a dragon?" Light thought to himself. Like this day couldn't get any stranger. Light realized he was moving. Light groaned as for the millionth time that day, he was dragged away.
