Ash went to the room to meet the person he needed to talk to.
"Hello." Ash said to the man. The guy Ash was talking to was in a tan-colored vest with a brown hat on his head. The man's face was hidden inside the vest, so his face was only a shadow.
"What took you so long?" The man replied in a shady voice. "Did you complete step one?" The man asked.
"Y-yes." Ash replied. "I learned a little bit about the two men. They're on their way here as we speak." Ash added.
"Good. Remember kid, earn their trust. When the time comes I'll send some ace trainers to help you swarm them. This operation can change the dark future we came from. And if you don't, then you won't need to worry about your friends anymore." The man said, motioning to his two guards. They brought forth two chairs that had Cilan and Iris tied up to them. They had tape over their mouth, and couldn't talk. Ash looked at them with a reassuring face, and then back at the man.
"One more thing. If they figure out our plan, then use this pill to mutate into a legendary of your choice. We've researched their stats and figured out they wouldn't stand a chance against a legendary." The man added. He handed a small, red pill to Ash. Ash gulped and nodded. Before Ash could say anything else, the two guards thumped Ash on the head. He fell to the ground and blacked out as his friends were dragged away. When he woke up he went back to his room, locked all entrances, and then started setting up his spy equipment. A main monitor showed the two men from an invisible camera. One was being dragged along again. Ash relaxed and waited for them to arrive.
