Oh but what about Maple? She seems to keep falling further and further behind I don't understand it, she's adorable.

Both are pretty good villagers imo, but they don't compare to Kid Cat and Bob >:]

Pretty sure last time someone asked this question, the reply was something like "There may be multiple guides, that all have different data and statistics, and not everyone may use the same guide." I could be wrong though, and this is just a guess. Plus, some people don't like the villager tiers at all, and would maybe complain...

Oh and another thing, I guess you could say that there could never be an official villager popularity guide, because they constantly change, and as we saw with HounD00med's guide, some people simply cannot continue to keep guides like this up to date. Hound00med did have a stickied guide I think, but they could no longer update it, and it had to be unstickied.

That could indeed be true. But I highly doubt we won't get a new update. Pretty sure I saw Chrystina post that she was working on the new update.
Though, it was like 1-2 weeks ago I saw that post... and I don't remember where I saw it, either. ><
