Villager sightings in museum, post 1.10?

Hey everyone, just a quick question. Can any confirm that they have seen their villagers roaming inside the museum since 1.10? I swear I haven't seen a single villager in there for weeks when usually it seemed that about 1 per day could be found in there.

Does anyone know more? Thanks so much.

Hmm, interesting. Are you playing with the date set to the stamp rally too?

For the first time, I was missing *2* villagers on my island at once. I ran around for an hour looking for them and found nothing.

Many people, myself included, are experiencing this. There is a previous thread on the topic here if you wanted to look through it, but it seems to be an ongoing issue since 1.9. As you say, villagers will occasionally be completely unfindable, and never appear in the museum.

still haven't seen a single villager in the museum recently, including when i participated in the stamp rally. hopefully this is something they're aware of and fix during the next update. otherwise they should make a note that they've removed it to avoid confusion. similarly, i wish they'd clarify whether or not they've fixed the doorplate glitch (where villagers won't always put up a doorplate, even if it's one of the non-seasonal/flower ones) yet because i still don't if it's still an issue lmao.

Haven't seen mines in it as well lately.
Two villagers would disappear and then re-appear if I go into another villager's home and one of the shops, but after at least 10 to 15 minutes later..

Can confirm I've also had missing villagers, I think it started at some point in 1.9 and has continued into 1.10? I'm not sure of the exact timeline. I remember going to the museum post 1.10 to see if it had been fixed and it seemed like it wasn't.

I read some speculation that it could have to do with the rumored museum/cafe update they're working on, which I hope is true, but I don't know if that's plausible. I don't fully comprehend the inner workings of the game, but the villagers that go missing have to be *somewhere* even if it's not accessible to us, I'd think?

I too have had the same problem (no villagers in the museum) and would not have believed it if I personally hadn't seen it, but yesterday 8-22-21 my wife had one of her villagers (Fang) in the museum looking at fish. She is on the latest version 1.11.1

As of 1.11.1, my villagers have returned to the museum, but they had been missing prior to the recent update since early summer.

I've definitely seen villagers recently after the latest update. Can't remember who or in what exhibit I saw them (I wanna say Raymond was checking out some fish?) but I can say I've definitely seen them! In fact, the time I saw them there were two villagers in different exhibits.

Yes, but only once so far. But then again I don't really wander around my museum too much as it is.

I saw Chelsea in the art section just the other day admiring a painting.
