Villager thread - new and old beloved animals

I'll be reallllly dissapointed if they remove any villagers. That's one of the things I'm most worried about. :c

I doubt they'll remove any villagers. Seeing as how Nintendo has been bringing back a lot of the older villagers in HHD, WA, and PC it would make sense for them to continue that with New Horizons. I can see them adding more missing villagers, as well as making some new ones.

If any villager is removed, I'm guessing it would be the special villagers from the WA update like Etoile and Chelsea because they seemed more like a special limited edition thing more than something permanent. But they brought back Felyne so maybe they'll come back too.

yeah, me too... the point that savespace is not a problem anymore is true, but the designspace worries me. I hope there are at least some few new animals on top

Removing any villager from New Leaf makes 0 sense whatsoever. I can't even believe some people think it will actually happen. I expect us to have around 450 villagers to start, with Nintendo making a couple updates until we get to around 500.

I really don't think they would remove any villagers. However I am uncertain about how they're gonna go about the Welcome amiibo villagers as well as the Sanrio villagers. Will they be locked to amiibo cards again? Removed from the game? Available to everyone like normal villagers?

im assuming locked to amiibo cards? amiibo as a whole is still being supported by nintendo, even with new amiibo themselves. maybe we'll see a new amiibo card series for ac unique to nh?

AAA I WANT FANG AND KYLE IN MY GAME!!! I miss the heck outta kyle and i want him to come back in NH so badly!!! I having a feeling some are going to get cut, to make room for newer animals. But boy oh boy i want kyle and fang in my games again

We need some old original AC characters to come back, that weren't brought to New Leaf. It'll bring nostalgia and memories while playing NH

When we eventually get the NH direct, I want to see a big splashy "everyone is here!" announcement, just like Smash Ultimate.

Every villager we've ever had, even the Japan-only e-reader ones and any NPCs. No matter how obscure, just bring everyone back!

Though obviously I'd prefer every animal to come back, since I'm sure pretty much each one of them will have it's own fans.

I think the welcome amiibo villagers being treated equally as regular villagers in Pocket Camp pretty much confirms that they weren't a one time thing and will all be back in NH, just like the regular villegers. I think we will see all the villagers from GC return except the one's people said were part of some 3rd part company (Bow, Meow, someone else I forgot). I can also see them adding quite a few new villagers, but I am not as confident that they will add more species. Right now, we can only hope,

I think some villagers from the GC Version have a super low chance to ever come back, cause they look too simular to existing villagers. For example Jane is close to Violet, Emerald and Sunny look like a low budget Henry and there are some others as well. I never knew about Bow and Meow were 3rd partiers, too bad. I thought Meow looked awesome

I think if they remove the accessories from the Sanrio villagers, they have a good shot at returning. Also, I think Filly has a good shot at returning since she’s part of the superhero theme with Kid Cat, Agent S, Big Top and Rocket, which also means we could get superhero number 5 and 6.

Since the mode of transportation in this game is not a train, then I can see Porter being dropped and Champ returning again.

GC and Japanese villagers I think have a good shot returning: Ace, Aziz, Hank, Hector, Pierre, Madam Rosa, Rhoda, Woolio, Gen, Sunny, Rio, Pironkon, Emerald, Sue E., Petunia (cow), Bessie, Megumi, Champagne, Carrot, Masa, Oxford, Jubei, Joe, Rollo, Lulu, Koharu, Valise, Liz, Yodel.

My absolute favorite villager is Monpe. She was only in animal forest e+ I believe, but if she makes it in the game it's going to be my mission to get her in my town.

I believe all the villagers from New Leaf will make a return. I don't see why they would take some of them out. I never played the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing, but I have seen a lot of the pictures of some of the old animals from it that never made a return. So seeing those guys from there would be great. I never met them, but I would love to see villagers such as Ace, Aziz, and Cupcake make a return. Just to name a few.

I want everyone to return! Ultimate Horizons-
As for new, I want Salamander villagers, Bats, Lizards, Gekos, Wombats! Also at least one special, unique villager (Like Julian, Ribbot, Sproket) for each species.
