Villagers that you despise with all your heart? New horizons edition.

Hippeux and Chops. First of all.....they're ugly. Second of all, eat the rich. Third of all, they would always be the ones moving in at the WORST times or when I actually used to use NMT they would be on my mystery islands the most.

And then I find it’s mostly the villagers that have that anime “cute” eye style. I just find it disturbing on so many levels. So Judy, Dom, Cookie etc.

I also can’t stand Diana. Her design is just so bleh. I don’t understand the hype with her haha.

I might be silly but I don't actually hate any villagers. It hurts my little heart to hate on villagers when they're just trying to exist... even less 'desirable' villagers like Jambette or Divi man I just

Sylvia for me. It's been so long now but she was one of the first two that I got on my island and seeing her would irk me.

I love the big sister personality, but her design is really not my cup of tea to put it mildly.

Also not really a big fan of many of the mouse villagers. The facial expressions on many of them are off putting.

I wasnt sure if I should reply to this because I cannot say I "despise with all my heart" any of the villagers. None of them really evoke such a strong negative emotion in me. I more tend to have villagers I'd be delighted to have in my town, and those that I dont want in my town.

That being said, I'm not fond of any of the bears (the cubs are cuter), or hippos. I also really dont like Graham as an individual villager because back in New Leaf, he destroyed a very amazing town by plotting his house directly in front of mine and it took ages and ages for me to get him to move out. So he would be my vote here! Sorry Graham!

When it comes to personal experiences, Chops and Snooty are the two that I find undesirable. Chops was my forced first campsite neighbor and I disliked him prior to that. It then took forever to move him out! I’m glad that happened, however. As for Snooty, she had been my least favorite of the anteaters and I wasn’t happy when I found out the plot of land for my seventh villager was reserved to her. It took basically forever for me to say “Goodbye Snooty, see you never” until Audie showed up in the campsite. It was egregious, but she eventually asked to take over Snooty’s place and I was happy when that happened.

As for my overall least favorite villager, I would have to say the ugly pig named Truffles. I’m glad I never had her at all, but I genuinely don’t like her facial features.

Despise is a pretty strong word especially since most of these haven’t done anything wrong to me but I just don’t take to them very well :

Coach - reminds me of creepy, sleazy men for some reason
Limberg - another creepster, him and Coach are drinking buddies I’m convinced they frequent the same bar and hit on girls
Coach’s cow and bull friends - they keep showing up in the mystery islands over and over and over again I wanted to file a restraining order against Naomi and Tipper
Rocket - I don’t think I need to explain
The rest of Rocket’s butt showing gorilla friends - I don’t like them they’re so weird looking walking around with their butts showing
Truffles - an abomination just look at her
Klaus - he’s…UNSETTLING
Moose - what is that THING?
Bella - she looks like she’s gonna murder me in my sleep
Jitters - he looks like he’s gonna watch Bella murder me in my sleep

Not sure I really hate anyone and typically I end up liking everyone more as times passes. But if I'd have to pick out some to be ones that I got some sort of beef with...

Merry - I just hated how some streamer got their followers to sway a popularity poll in her favor which resulted in her suddenly taking a popularity upswing and become such a top tier dreamie for so many people. It just all felt so fake. Also her double chin making her fat just makes me think of Bart Baker's "All About The Bass" or "Me Too" parody with the fake double chin. Merry is a Youtube parody man cosplayed as Megan Trainer is what I get from her when I look at her face. I'd rather just get an actual fat cat.

Sherb- Don't want to say it too loud cause he is on my island, but I find him overall overated. I use to generally dislike him for it, but now I have him on my island and can't help but love him some. He asked to come over to my house today and stayed for AWHILE, so I mean I get he has appeal... just not nearly as much as everyone else seems obsessed with him. He just makes me think of Jimmy from Ed Edd and Eddy as he just looks slight sickly. He dodged the move out bubble yesterday as it struck Sheldon, but I still see him leaving... more than likely.

Dom - Never understood the hype on this sheep, he's so basic. Cyd, Reneigh, and Megan are far more interesting in terms of design and are drastically overlooked for this plain sheep. I don't hate him and wouldn't mind him on my island. I just don't see how he exploded in popularity. Audie, Judy, and Raymond made sense to me. Dom did not.

Rocket - My starter Big Sister that refused to move for months. She was weird and aggressive. I think the Big Sister dialogue really has to come from a villager you like or it'll rub you the wrong way since they have attitude. Since I didn't like Rocket and she stayed awhile... I don't really care for her. She is still part of my AC history though as the only true disliked resident of my island.

Marcie - I hate her design, I find her repulsive and she has not grown on me at all. I still find her hideous. Simply giving her a nose would help her out. But she is overall a massive mess to me. And her baby is all dolled up which is creepy.

No noses, Bad fringe haircuts or bangs, Rabbits with mismatched colors between their heads and their arms/legs, Black soulless eyes, Forever shut eyes - These are just design aspects I generally dislike. Typically this feature doesn't sink their entire ship for me, but it is something I hold against their designs!

I can't say that I "despise" any villagers, per se, but Violet gives me PTSD from the GCN days. She reminds me of the old gorilla named Jane from that game, who once stole a piece of Jingle furniture from me as a kid. I'm not sure why, but the PTSD of 11 year-old me experiencing that has conditioned me to really not like Violet, lol. She's like Jane's successor of sorts. For one, they really do look alike, and second, I just don't like gorilla models all that much, which is unfortunate because I'm quite fascinated by real gorillas, lol.

To make matters worse, she kinda' just invited herself onto my island in the early days of NH via Nook being an arsehole filling the plot a day later. She took her sweet time to leave, too.

Ok, it's super rare that I despise a villager. So rare that there is only one: Reneigh.

Originally, I was really excited to get Reneigh. I needed an uchi type on my island and she caught my eye while browsing Nookipedia for uchi villagers. I figured, "might as well get the cutest looking one since they're all the same on the inside, right?" WRONG.

The first thing she does upon arriving at Kona is criticize the design of the island. "I guess ANYTHING goes here."

She never got nicer. Heck, she was super passive aggressive. For example, she complimented my outfit and told me she had the perfect thing to go with it -- a paper bag. And this kind of stuff kept happening over and over again. Tired, I put fencing all around her house, and topped it off with a large, juicy coprolite right outside her door. I knew these obstacles would do nothing, but my petty heart was satisfied. I ignored her for months (aside from popping in occasionally when she was giving out DIYs). Until one day, I started to feel bad for the way I'd been treating her, and I removed everything surrounding her house. The 2.0 update had just come out, and Reneigh deserved to enjoy it too.

I really thought we had turned over a new leaf. Reneigh was being really friendly to me, and we were genuinely getting along. A few days later, I spot her and Bob (one of the oldest residents and one of my dearest friends) chatting by the Plaza. Reneigh was teaching Bob a new reaction, and her long, angry horse face scared Bob. Bob burst into tears, and Reneigh continued to berate and criticize him for not being tough enough. I couldn't believe it. I'd given her a chance, released her from her stinky, fossilized prison and she turned around and walked all over our newfound 'friendship'. I finally had enough of Reneigh. Nobody, I mean NOBODY, bullies and shouts at my neon purple son right in front of my eyes. As she walked away from teary-eyed Bob, I did what I never knew I was capable of: I whacked her with my net. Bob immediately stopped crying and launched into a full-speed Naruto run, riding the blissful high of revenge. (I actually manage to capture this on video.)

So yeah. That's the story of how I liked, then hated, then kinda' started to like, and then was betrayed and hated Reneigh all over again.

yeah, can't really hate any of the villagers tbh. i feel if you think a single villager is being rude to you then you probably just don't like that entire personality type since, ya know, any other character with the same personality type has the ability to do/say what that single villager did. that's not counting the fact this is new horizons and everyone treats you so nicely unless you're intentionally hitting them or something.

so now it's basically their looks i have to judge and... i really can't despise a villager for just their looks lol. i can say that i personally don't like how they look but i'm not gonna say i despise them over how they look.

that's probably just me though.

gonzo. i didn't mind him before but he was an auto move-in and like glitched my game? i couldn't move his house at all and the only way i could kick him out was through amiibo villagers, it was very bizarre and frustrating, especially since i was making a neighborhood layout at the time :/

I have Gonzo and love his old man charm. I made his catch phrase be ‘idget’ based off on of my fave grumpyi

I never thought I would like mouse villagers, but I have Bree, and I love her.

That said, while certain villagers looks put me off (in HHP I’m trying to have only cute appealing villagers) but it’s also personality types I can’t stand. Peppy, had Bubbles. It drove me crazy all the want to be famous talk. With Cranston, being Lazy type I didn’t like the bug talk. And Jocks, started off with Billy (he showed up in HHP, but didn’t acknowledge our history) not big on the talking about working out. I have Peck only for the reactions, but if Lolly shows up, he is gone.

Also, I really really really didn’t like Cashmere. I think it’s the snootiness. I just don’t really like snooty villagers in general.
Cleo also got on my nerves the other day. She was bad-talking our town saying it could have more “class”. But, Mira snapped back at her and said the town isn’t perfect but it’s amazing the way it is! Man I love the uchi villagers.

Diva is my absolute least favourite. I'm sorry but that design is just not it. Also she was my starter on my first island, and I couldn't stand her. I completely ignored her pretty much till she finally moved out.
