We need new IRC mods

Jeremy, I know not many go on he irc but for the few of us that do its getting pretty bad, The only people that come on with power is you and you don't come on the much. When you not on it turns into chois, I could dig into my logs and easily show you why you need to hire a new op. This can't be avoided unless you want to come on most of the day. (mirnada why did you stop coming to the IRC anyways?) So jeremy or any mod that has chat power please try to visit more as it is getting really bad in there.

yeah, the chat rooms needs a new op. it just needs it for the times that spammers and advertisers get on. rarely when those kind of people come on, there is an actual convo

I'm new, but I'd have to agree with needing an OP. Everytime I've been in there people have just come in and spammed or just come in to cause trouble. It would be nice to have somewhere to chat and have an OP.

I know. But as you said, the IRC is getting ransacked frequently and is very unpopulated.
The forum would be more convenient as it's moderated and always populated.

An OP can only do so much.
I mean, I don't think they're going to find someone who wants to sit in the IRC all day to make sure people don't come in and do something stupid.
The point being, the IRC is much more easy to hide who you are to annoy people. That will happened even with an OP watching it. The most they can do is keep banning until either the people give up or the OP doing it goes insane.

I'm in IRC alot, I ahve a active channel for my forum, I can handle it only with ops and me being in there all day, my forum is small, not tbt size, we need a op in the irc.

But if you have your own that has operators that can handle pests, then why are you worrying about the one on tbt?

Because there are peopel in tbt irc thats not in mine.
