We need new IRC mods

An OP can only do so much.
I mean, I don't think they're going to find someone who wants to sit in the IRC all day to make sure people don't come in and do something stupid.
The point being, the IRC is much more easy to hide who you are to annoy people. That will happened even with an OP watching it. The most they can do is keep banning until either the people give up or the OP doing it goes insane.

I'm in IRC alot, I ahve a active channel for my forum, I can handle it only with ops and me being in there all day, my forum is small, not tbt size, we need a op in the irc.

But if you have your own that has operators that can handle pests, then why are you worrying about the one on tbt?

Because there are peopel in tbt irc thats not in mine.

Ask them to move.
I'm sure it won't bother anyone if a few people switch IRC locations.
It would be a lot easier than finding someone to operate the one on here.

I'm going to start giving up.. you're not listening.
Nobody is going to want to sit in there all day and deal with people.
It's easier to move somewhere that has people who will deal with people.

Nobody is going to sit in an IRC all day for four people when we need mods on the forums just as much for the 500+ people on it.

500 is greater than 4.

To be honest, there aren't enough people during the day who go on to the channel for there to be an op. I'm on there whenever I log on to the server (it's in my auto-join settings - too lazy to take it out) and MAYBE someone will log on every few hours. Actual discussion is extremely rare. If and when more people actually journey over to the channel, there should be staff, but for now, it's not necessary.

I would just like to point out that the more you troll the IRC, the more you're proving out points. The points that there are more spammers/advertisers/trolls on than normal users that just want to have a normal convo.
