I also like the idea of a dark blue potion, or otherwise having some color other than pure black, but that is just my preference, though I am not totally opposed to black either. I think I am going to wait for a bit to add my ingredients, I want to see how people weigh in on the color and items before I decide. I’d like to help make something most of the group seems to agree on, if possible.

this is a mock up of one that's went around before View attachment 325670 personally i think this looks spooky and eerie but also i don't think it looks too similar for purple, just throwing ideas out there though

I do agree that black would look a bit bland, it’s a super cool idea, but compared to the other colors it just wouldn’t fit in my opinion. A blue potion would complete me.

Hello all! I was very pleasantly surprised to get my prize pack today! Thank you so much to all who contributed to putting such a great prize together as everything was super adorable! <3

As for my ingredients, I think I'll wait and ponder my ingredient choices a bit longer. Hmmm...

I personally have chipped tombstone, magenta dye, and ectoplasm.

I'm not a big fan of either of my item cards, personally, but I'm open to including them in the final collectible. I like the idea of a lighter magenta potion, or maybe a darker purple one? I like the pastel goth aesthetic and think something that includes that would be a cool collectible!

I personally do not want a super dark potion (as in black), as that doesn't have too much appeal to me. As in, I think that the current colour we have is too dark for my liking. Not sure what my magenta would do if the potion is already as dark as it is though, even if I thicken it...

I'll hold off on submitting anything until more ideas come in. Feel free to @ me if you have a good idea with any of the cards I have!

can someone give me a ELI5 on what items actually do, i am confused?

I assume they will be for the 'topper' cork of the potion, like the leaf on the swamp potion and the little wings on the bat potion! Also potentially it could decide the name of the potion as well? This is just a theory but I can't imagine what else they would be for!


As for the blue potion discussion, I think that would be cool as well. It also does open up more opportunity for personal decision when adding dye without making it an undesirable shade. I think if we stuck to mostly cyan, blue and black dyes then we could get a nice shade and it would allow further discussion of whether we want to go brighter or darker! Maybe with a blue potion more ingredients would be suitable to be chosen too, since with a black potion it might feel restricted to a certain few that seem eerie enough.

ALSO: If we threw in a bit of green we could go for more of a turquoise which could be cute! Just a suggestion.

I like the idea of a turquoise potion! I think a cyan/turquoise potion could be nice, or maybe even a darker turquoise (like an emerald-green of sorts).

Hello! If we mixed a little cyan and green in we could get a really pleasing dark sea green/blue ~ I have neither of these colours ahah so gonna wait and see how it goes

The reason black is better is because it’s more neutral, I’m not opposed to dark blue but I just feel like black is the best option for everyone.
Also dark blue might be too similar to purple, idk

Well I don't know how many people already recieved their ingredients or how many will join later, but like said before we all have to work and decide together. Can't say it's the best option for everyone haha.

For me personally I think it's just a bit boring. Ok 90% of my wardrobe is black, but still :')
But I would like a dark blue or if still possible even pink. But the problem is that if we add pink now it will be purple again
Not sure how I will use my cards now, but I'm considering to use the thickener on the blue to get a (dark) blue potion.

I like the one of @mogyay above. It's like Ectoplasma in a bottle!

At this stage anything is still possible! Reminder that this is the tool that is being used to figure out the final colours. So you are all able to have a play around with that and figure out what is needed to achieve certain colours.

Haha yes I've been playing with the tool. Maybe with at least 5 magenta's in it. Not 100% sure because I'm partially colorblind so for me it's pink but maybe for everyone else it's purple :')

Depends on the shade. Dropping some red (assuming there is a red) and/or white in there would warm up the colour and pull it away from the cool/purple tones.

was just testing this with the magenta (it’s a pinkish color right?) and white, and it will! assuming no other colors are added

pls i would love a pink collectible
