What are you guys doing with each room?

3 small square rooms, 2 rectangular rooms upstairs and down, and your big central square room. I tried to make a bedroom upstairs but it just feels too big and I can't fill all the space. I need some inspiration.

I always do bedroom upstairs, kitchen left, bathroom in the back, ??? right and basement downstairs. The main room is the living room area, though I'd like to make the room on the right a living room. I'd have no idea for my main room then, maybe a small apartment vibe?

I want to make it reflect my interests. I'm going to make a small room into a library. Another room with a craft/hobby room. I'll probably make a room that reflects that my NBA team. Maybe a movie theater? I'll also have a bedroom and kitchen.

i'm not completely sure what i want to do yet, but my upstairs is currently half-bathroom half-kitchen (oops). the middle room just has a fountain in the middle of it right now, the back and right rooms are bedrooms, and the left is a study. my basement is going to be a cozy den sort of situation with a fireplace and bookcases!

Second floor definitely a bedroom, i think the shape fits super well. Main room a kitchen/living room, one of the square rooms will be a bathroom and another will be a "panic room" of sorts, aka just a bunch of bookshelves and comfy stuff. No clue what the basement will be, maybe ill try and make it look messy as if it were used for storage like an actual basement?

Dark colors and more on the vintage side. Upstairs is the bedroom. Kitchen on the left, bathroom on the right, back room is my study/library. Downstairs I'm not sure yet.

I themed my villager home so here's my idea so far...

× Restaurant/Inn
× Outside would be an outdoor restaurant
× Main room would be an indoor restaurant
× Left room would be the bathroom
× Right room would be the kitchen
× Back room would be my alchemy stuff for potion making + beverages
× Basement would be my bedspace/inn
× Second floor would be my bedroom

The only rooms I really have an idea for is:

- Basement is an arcade/game room theme.
- Back room is my bedroom!
- Left room is the kitchen

I have no clue what I'm gonna do with the second floor and the right room. right now the right room is full of all my bunny furniture lol

So far I'm gonna have a main living room (seating area, tv), kitchen and bathroom on the sides, and bedroom either in the back room or the upstairs room. Might make my basement into a storage area with cardboard boxes and some other junk.

i've never really been into the decorating aspect of my home as much as i have been into it in this game.. i think i just like how the furniture looks way better and that gives me more inspiration

Right now, the big room is just weirdness, I've got some cypress plants, some flamingos, the skull radio, and a gnome in it. The gnome guards whatever turnips I buy.

The left room is a chill bathroom with lots of plants.

The middle room is an office/study with a blue, gray and brown color scheme

The room on the right is a pink bedroom

The upstairs is going to be a kitchen but is kind of a kitchen/diner mix right now

I'm not sure what the basement will be when I get it; if there are more art supply items in this game then I might make it an art studio

The main room will be a sitting area, left kitchen, right bathroom, back tailoring room, upstairs bedroom, and the basement was gonna be a bloody "torture chamber". I thought it would be super funny/jarring to have something like that down there, considering how cutesy the rest of my house is gonna be lol. I just hope I can find proper furniture for it.

I've got all rooms except the basement so far, and for each room I've sort of got a color palette. Main room is a living room/general room with pink/white, the left is a dark green study, right is a kinda multicolored bathroom but i'm aiming for blue yellow and pink, back is a yellow/green kitchen, and my bedroom upstairs is yellow analogous. No clue what the basement is gonna be.
At one point I was doing feng shui because it was a nice way to make a room look coordinated and I didn't know if it was still a thing in NH or not.

I've got like a granny room going on in the main room with like a lacy rug, rocking chair, blue coloured wooden furniture a teapot and so on.

The left room I'm sticking the throwback series in as well as some general punk stuff like a skull t-shirt, got K.K. Metal playing on the skull stereo, a tarantula, there isn't much in there yet but I think it's gonna look pretty cool.

No idea about the other rooms yet but so far my house looks like a punky person is living with their grandma or something

I have no idea what to do with my rooms, I only really expanded my house to get more storage space. I don't really have enough furniture and their right colors to make a good looking room

I have two possible ideas:

Main room: Combo living room and dining room
Right room: kitchen
Left room: guest room/tatami room
Back room: bathroom
Upstairs: bedroom

Or...

Main room: living room
Right room: bedroom
Left room: guest room
Back room: bathroom
Upstairs: kitchen and dining room

Either way, the basement will probably be a garden, conservatory, or some sort of other outdoor-like space.

Though for my second character's house I'm making a school!

Main room: regular classroom
Right room: teacher's office
Left room: nurse's office
Back room: music room or bathroom - undecided.
Upstairs: art room
Basement: science room

I only have 3 rooms so far, so I haven't started planning them yet, but ultimately I think I'll do the following:

Main - living room
Back - kitchen
Left - bath
Right - crafting, hobby
Upstairs - bedroom
Basement - library, study

I still haven't upgraded to the basement and I miss a lot of furniture, but my plan is:

Downstairs: gym, sauna
Upstairs: open air rooftop
