- I did a painting today and am really happy with how it turned out
- I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback in my art thread lately and it’s motivating me a lot
- I slept good last night
- I got a 256gb micro sd card for my tablet today
- Also got a cute new grip cover for my Xbox controller
- Played some more of Wylde Flowers today and enjoyed it
- Paid for and scheduled my next two violin lessons
- Something that was giving me anxiety went well today
- I had a pretty good day today!
- ordered some cute swimsuits for baby; I'd like to do swim lessons with her at 6mo like I did with my son
- ordered them both some cute sunglasses and sandals as it's warming up here quite a bit
- toddler did another #2 on the toilet which was big for him/his potty training so far
- we got out and enjoyed the nice weather today
- ate some chocolate covered strawberries :3

The past few days have been hectic!! but decent!
I finally started my honours!! Ik a couple people here saw my stress post on the WBY thread last week, but thankfully we managed to get things organised just in time for the start of semester, and I only have to do a make-up session for one thing. I'm still feeling a bit anxious and like I'm out of my league, but I feel like I understand it a lot more now after a couple meetings with supervisors. It's a really interesting project and I'm very thankful they're letting me work with them for this year.
Today is my one day this week I was home the whole day, but I spent it pretty much all sorting out training courses lmao. But happy I was able to sort them out in time!
I also went for a walk, and played some scopa with my dad. I ended my night calling my partner, just chatting which was nice
I hope everyone's having a good day <3

there's a lot that I'm excited about, but I'll have to talk about it later. for now I'll say that I went to the nearby doughnut shop—which just opened on the 7th and is within walking distance of the library—to get some doughnuts, and they're sooooo good omg 
My latest hyperfixation is pokemon and it’s currently half term break so I’m leaning more into it now I have more time.
- I watched more episodes of S1 Indigo League (currently on ep40).
- I popped to my local Aldi and managed to grab some blister packs, a Shinx and a Charzard Lego set! I opened the cards and got a few good ones. Hoping I’ll be able to get my hands on some Prismatic Evolutions but I won’t be holding my breath. My partner and I also built charizard tonight! I’d love to do more Lego sets together. It scratches a part of my brain haha.
- I worked a little more on the Squirtle crochet project I’m doing for my partner. Managed to get the eyes done (I hate sewing and I’m also not good at it so let’s not talk about how tragic it is). Last thing left to do is the legs! I’ve also been making little hamsters for the kids at school which is a quick project to do when I’m in the mood for something easy.

I’m still feeling a bit down, but a few things that I’m happy about:
I had a nice chat with a friend; it’s nice to hear that they’re doing good

My dad went to the other side of the state for something (he could’ve got it done here which baffles both me and my mom, but
) and brought me home chinese take out food from my favorite restaurant 
.
I’m feeling much happier about how I did in this event; I think talking about it with others and reflecting on things a friend told me when I was frustrated with another event, helped a lot. I think that I forgot to mention in a thread, but one other thing that has helped me enjoy the events more along with just having fun is focusing on making some improvement big or small. Since I’d love to get better with my artwork, it makes me happy to make even the smallest amount of improvement. I don’t think my art will event be on par anytime soon with the artwork of artists who have been drawing regularly for years, but that’s honestly okay since I’m more of a casual for now and not sure yet how far I want to go or committed. Until I’m sure of it, with my art entries, I’m really happy just with progress that I made. The likes are a really big bonus; I was really happy that people liked my little valentine’s party drawing. I think I know what could’ve made it a bit better too; I think I needed a more relatable and understandable message. I think mine worked but kinda hard if you don’t know the character and maybe the food was confusing too. I just am not good at valentine’s messages; if I had more time, I might have been able to think of something better. Either way, I’m glad I went the way I did since it was for fun and to help me experiment more with with art styles and the tools. It makes me want to try drawing some more chibis of characters I like to get more practice in the chibi style .
Now that I realize what I did wrong with my collage and had time to think about the more important question of whether I’m happy with it, I think I am happy that I went with the idea that I had at the time even if it cost me the nomination. I did need something to cheer me up and since this was the first collage event, it was a good learning experience. I am still kicking myself for not saying more about my entry, that is my real regret.
Tbh, I was kinda embarrassed to talk about some like having comfort characters and shipping even though I know many can relate. It made me happy to see so many others and that they weren’t embarrassed to talk about it .
The day is still early so I may have more to post later.

Happy with quite a few things today and I'm glad about that because yesterday was kind of bad mood wise.
- I did say yesterday was kind of bad, but there was one thing that still made me happy. It's pretty silly, but a Toyota Prius C (also known as the Aqua in Japan) arrived at work for service and I got to bring it in! I know it's a mundane car, but it never ceases to amaze me that it's one of the many cars that I can drive in Gran Turismo 7 that's almost a perfect recreation to detail in real life.
Anyways, before I get carried away, I managed to build up more experience with my coworkers double checking my work as per usual. - While work was fairly busy, I felt good being able to get stuff done along with building up more experience in one aspect again. After we wrapped up for the day, I chatted with my coworkers for a while and had a few laughs here and there.
- Feel free to skip this point. On my way home from work, I got to spot a Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) again, but in yellow! It was chilling at an intersection, so I got to spend a bit more time looking at it before passing by hehehe.
I did notice that its rear wing looks slightly different compared to the one I saw on the highway a couple of weeks ago, though. - I had baked salmon and potatoes for dinner! It never fails to taste good and getting to enjoy it with my mother and sister.
- Listened to some video game soundtracks. I've also listened to a soundtrack cover where it was the overworld theme from Super Mario Bros. Wonder... But in the style from New Super Mario Bros. Wii! It fits really well.
- I had really good and funny vibes chatting with @/xSuperMario64x this evening. He told me that apparently, we've been chatting with each other on Discord almost daily for two and a half years now. I almost teared up at that. And that's not even counting the other interactions here on TBT prior to that.
- I'm off from work tomorrow! I hope I get a good sleep tonight.

My birthday was great! I had a wonderful day, spent it with my mom, my bf.. etc! I'll do a continuation of how it went ^_^
- I ended up taking a nap before my boyfriend came to get me. I barely slept, and the nap? I also barely slept. LOL. I was just so excited to spend the day with him! He got me around 1pm-ish? We went to the mall, where I wanted to go shopping.. so bad.. I miss going shopping, since I don't have my license yet, it's hard to get around. >< I stopped at MINISO, where they told me if I had a rewards account with them, I could get a free blind-box for my b-day :3 SOoo, I'll have to stop there again before the coupon expires xD
But this is all I got from MINISO, I didn't wanna spend all my money there.
I was really excited about the shark Mofusand plush.. WAHH!! I was so happy I got it! My bf saw these Snow White oil-absorbing sheets, and I.. obviously got them. Snow White is my favorite Disney Princess, so it was meant to be xD I also got these My Melody pens!
- Then after MINISO.. I RANNNN to Build-a-Bear, hoping they still had Pochacco available. There was one lone Badtzmaru, and I almost got him since he reminds me of my silly bf :3 But.. Pochacco was what I went there for, so I ended up getting him instead.. T^T Which, I'm still happy about! Last year for my birthday I was torn between Pochacco and Pompompurin. Ultimately ended up getting Pompompurin, and told Pochacco I'd be back for him one day. So, here he is!
I felt bad that I couldn't exactly afford his outfit.. so maybeee I'll buy him a cute outfit later ! :3 I needed to buy more septum rings at Spencer's, so I had to weigh out the pros and cons of getting Pochacco's outfit.. >< It was still really fun. I love going to Build-a-Bear, even if it makes me childish or silly. It heals my inner child, lowkey.
- After we were done at the mall.. we went to get sushi :3 Ooough it was sooo yummy. We got 3 specialty rolls, and every single one was yummy! The Bagel Roll is probably my favorite, and my go-to every time I go there! ^_^ We shared sushi and talked and laughed together.. it was a nice time. When we were done eating, he came over to hang out with me ;w; He was gonna watch me play Class of 09, but I was a little exhausted from running around, so I wanted to lay down. So, we laid down :3 I love laying down next to him. It's so.. comforting. Just knowing he's there T^T
- When he left, I just chilled in my room for a while until my mom got off work. She brought my brother over and they all sang happy birthday to me
I'm really grateful to have a decent family, especially on my mom's side. We had cake and then she took me to Daiiiiiry Queeeen :3 I got a slushie float, and it was very tasty! Overall, I had a great day. I appreciate all the birthday wishes and gifts and everything! ^_^
- I'm going to start journaling again, I think. Just stuff about my day, or small vents. I notice when I used to heavily vent in my journal, it made me feel a lot worse lol. So, if I write down stuff I'm happy about or grateful for, when I look back at it- it may make me feel better when I need a pick-me-up ^^ I got a new set of pens, so I'm excited to put them to good use! :3 I love to write, no matter what it is, really.. so here's to a new good habit
- I hope the speculations about the Love and Deepspace events are true.. we're supposedly getting a Zayne myth card event soon. I need to save everything I have in order to get it, AAAAH. Rafayel's birthday event is coming up soon, but I think Zayne's myth may be after that? I hope so, but at the same time I hope not 'cuz I need more time to save hehe.. ;; It makes me happy because.. erm. Zayne just makes me really happy ^_^

Happy today because I slept well and was productive at work. I've continued to play ACNH and am still working on developing my island. My new friend and I's friendship is budding and I couldn't be happier about that. I really do appreciate them. I also got to talk with some other friends yesterday and had some nice chats with them. It's sunny outside and I had some coffee for the first time in awhile. I'm also really looking forward to going to martial arts tonight since I haven't been in a couple weeks. Hope everyone's having a good week!

Today was a bit rough, but I think it’ll get better. Still anxious about something small. Right now, I’m happy about a few things:
A friend and I have been chatting a bit more the last few days; always happy to hear about the game she plays and stuff that is going on with her.
Been having some nice chats with other friends. Had a good chat with @Yanrima~ yesterday; always nice chatting to her ofc!

Been making more progress on a drawing and have another idea for it. I’m kinda excited about another drawing idea I have if I am not burnt out by the time I’m done with this one.
Jewels has been very naughty again earlier and kept me from sleeping good, but hard to mad at her. Right now she is sleeping on my bed looking very cute and Spanky is in her pineapple bed. Earlier I caught Spanky with her favorite yarn ball that she loved to play with since we adopted her; I love watching my girls play .
I’m still enjoying the Chinese food that my dad brought home for me yesterday.
