I had a good workout at the gym today and the Dallas Stars are currently trouncing the Nashville Predators 6-2 in the 2nd period.

Since my cough has been getting better lately, Spanky is starting to spend time in my room again . This morning she kept waking me up, licking my face . She loves giving kisses .

I got some quest chains done in Genshin that I’ve been putting off. Also got this gadget for the chasm up to level 5; just one more until I can continue on with this one quest that I’m in a hurry to get over and done with.

I think I’m close to the soft pity amount; I just need about 500 more primogems .

☾ I ordered a few nice things for myself with the spending money I got for Valentine’s Day!! ;w; Getting some white gel ink pens for art (I've wanted some forever aaaa) and some character merch. And I’ve still got a little bit leftover that I can put towards something else later!

☾ Also played Fashion Dreamer a little bit again today! I tried to clean out my item box a little and do some grinding for unlocks in Solo Mode. I am forever Seeking Zeke.

☾ I was able to finish my entry for Draconic Designs as well! I always love the coloring page events on here ehehe. Coloring is already one of my favorite hobbies I like to do to relax, so they’re a lot of fun!

☾ And I watched some Hermitcraft and other Youtube videos with my family!

My draconic design coloring have been retrieved from the hard drive (computer died yesterday) and posted! I'm a bit sad though, that I couldn't finish it and add scales and background as I want, but I'm happy I could post something.

I'm happy that the hard drive is not totally dead and I can still save all my files.

Baked chocolate cupcakes and will stuff my face with some later

Put back the hard drive in the old computer and it came back to life again - BETRAYAL!- (but for how long?) I tried that yesterday and it didn't work, yesterday the hard drive never booted, just a black screen and I couldn't turn it off. It came back to 2011 though...(very old computer). So I will enjoy it until it freeze again (like a dozen of times a day usually) and refuse to start up again tomorrow.. Yes I need a new one...

I'm gonna break this into sections for what happened this week. A lot of positives went on, so let's just get into it!

Monday and Tuesday🌨
This was pretty relaxing for me. I got back in the art mojo and started drawing refs for a friend like CRAZY. Safe to say thanks to that, I am filled with not only ideas, but can finish my commissions and trades quicker. I was also developing some more character lore in my story and have been thinking about possibly writing it all in a document. I also got to talk with a close friend, despite a lot of it being venty, it felt good since we were also in a good mood in a way. A lot of bittersweet and wholesome stuff happened (I see them as a younger sister figure.) Our other close friend came, so we all just chatted and talked about stuff we related to (We also talked about how she was a mother figure to me at times). Both are some of my closest internet friends and absoloutely care for them dearly. The conversation we had was just wholesome <3333
Wednesday
Valentine's Day! I drew a self-ship picture of my F/O and I together and I love how it turned out. I planned it for a while, and think it came out splendid
Another close friend (I see them as a younger sibling) drew their main OC ship for Valentine's Day. That happens to ALSO be a shared ship, as I own one of the OCs, so it was a sweet gift . I also made a little doodle of another character for Valentine's (50/50 I'll finish it)
I also FINALLY gave my older brothers the Sugarfina gummies (and myself) as gifts. They freaking loved them, so I'm happy <333
We also got some chocolates, oh maaaaan they were delicious
Thursday
I got to FINALLY watch season 1 of Loki. So far, it is my 2nd favorite MCU series, close to Wanda Vision at first. I hear from my oldest brother that season 2 is even better, so I'm looking foward to it
We also plan to watch Deadpool 1 and 2 after we finish the series. My brother has seen the first, but not the second. I'm definitely intrigued, so I'm also gonna watch them, so I can see Deadpool 3 when it releases and have context ^_^
Later Today...
KOREAN BBQ BABYYYY! I am gonna go eat there with my older brothers for Dinner...that place is freaking delicious, especially the salmon. Cooking the food there yourself is a freaking win, and you can eat as much as you want. Cooked pineapples are also really good
I'm also excited for the Splatfest for Splatoon 3 as well. Friday Vs. Saturday Vs. Sunday. Team Saturday, baby! (Friday is a close second though!)

I finally surpassed my plateau of 89 kg, well, I got under that.
Two years ago my weightloss plateaued at that and at the time I maintained until I had an accident and regained a lot of weight.
Today I weighed in at 88.6 kg. The only difference between then and now is that I lowered my calorie intake from 1500s to 1400s. I'm just too short for r/1500isplenty

But I'm excited to see new numbers.

I thawed out pumpkin puree I made last year from my pumpkin harvest and made a pumpkin pie. I made it differently then I normally do and used local honey instead of sugar and it tasted pretty good.

I've been working in my basement. I cleaned pretty much everywhere. There was so much dust and cobwebs in the rafters, on walls, floor ect. Took a full day of just moving things around to organize and clean. Had to push it all in the middle to paint the walls. It was a lot more prep time to do that and sand the walls then it was to paint it with heavy duty waterproof paint.

I got rid of a lot of stuff in the basement. I just straight up threw away stuff or put it at the end of my driveway and people were taking it. Sure I could've made some money if I put it online or whatever, but that's more of a hassle then it's worth with how flaky people can be.

I still have a lot of work to do in my basement to fix it up, but it's a start. I also fixed my breaker boxes and pushed all the electrical components together in the same spot instead of how the original electricians and internet providers decided to put it all over the walls.

I’m happy about two things today:

• Way back in mid October - November, we started a long project that’s supposed to be due today. I was pretty scared at first, but it was easy; all we did was turn in the report we made on it, the project itself, and a bibliography. I’ve been spending a lot of time polishing it recently, and now I don’t have to do that anymore
• There’s no school on Monday or Tuesday because of Presidents’ Day

It snowed! What beautiful weather! I love seeing the birds gather at the feeders. My cat also loved watching them, chattering the entire time. It was a lovely day for everyone— for several different reasons.

me and my grandma marathon'd most of the tremors movies today! we still need to watch 2 of em. we ordered pizza and made a whole day of it. <:]

☾ I got to play Rune Factory 5 for a good while today! I raised a couple more of the townsfolk’s friendship levels up to ten and expanded one of my monster barns. Also popped into Fashion Dreamer for a few minutes just to claim e-points and grab a few more colors of the steampunk outfits from other players.

☾ My white ink pens arrived!! ;v; So happy to finally be able to do small highlights on traditional drawings without awkwardly trying to avoid coloring tiny areas. They’ll also be really handy for working with toned paper/colored construction paper!

☾ New official art of two of my comfort characters dropped and I think I have ascended, actually

It was a pretty uneventful day. However, my brother got us Wendy's for lunch, and my dad went to the store and got some snacks and meals to eat. ^-^

Had an invredibily lovely Saturday.
My friend came over to spend the day with me, and also give me my belated birthday present - which was something, I'm still shook - he got me a lovely new laptop, where I can finally use all the art/photo and edit programs my heart desires, also games!!
It was such a lovely surprise!

I went to Medieval Times (the restaurant theatre). It’s way better than football and baseball.

I also got a crown, a sword, and a novelty cup. The sword and crown are fake, but they’re cool souvenirs.

☾ Watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter with my parents this morning!! We also got to watch a little Youtube later and see GeminiTay’s new episode of Hermitcraft.

☾ After that I spent most of the day working on creating a reference sheet for one of my characters!! Part of me wishes I was able to get it done today ahaha, but I made a ton of progress on it (sketched a front + back view and a few assorted design elements for clarity, digitally inked it AND started on the coloring), and I’m really happy with how it’s coming out so far! Although my desk setup really isn’t built for drawing for long stretches of time and my shoulder is super sore now ;; but I had fun at least!

☾ Went on an early evening walk instead of a morning one for a change! I just wasn't feeling like it in the morning, but after drawing for so long I felt like I needed a break to get up and move around for a bit, so that was nice.

Happy because I’m now back on tbt after being gone for awhile. The holidays were a little hectic, as my last grandparent has passed away. I’m okay though now, so happy to be back.
