I'm happy to see a lot of hilarious stuff happening lately also it's Valentine's Day so I'm happy to share one of the best songs EVER just a regular day, sure, but you gotta make the most of life while you're still alive. After all, your life could be a whole lot worse.
☆ Got an email detailing my training schedule for the first week of my new job!
☆ It is Valentine's Day!
☆ I had a couple of close friends leave Valentine's cards at my house or send sweet messages. My friendship group is a little eccentric and probably too close for comfort for most folk but we've a lot of love for each other.
☆ My partner and I went out to watch the new Mean Girls movie. I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I didn't expect it to be a musical!
☆ I don't know how much whoever reading this knows about me, but as the super most manliest man on TBT™ of course I went out wearing a dress. My girlfriend was expecting me to wear a suit, because I usually take any excuse to, but she loves when I dress femme so she had no complaints. Well, except one; her only complaint was that I wore lip gloss.

☆ We have just ordered dinner and I'm about to open a bottle of wine for us to share. Happy Valentine's folks!

𓇢𓆸 I finally unlocked Spirit Deers in Cozy Grove!! Ironically enough, I had just been talking about hoping to unlock them soon when I booted up the game the other day, only to unlock them about 20 mins later!! My first deer is a young Sad Deer named Alf, and he is so gorgeous!! I’m so happy, I hope to get him to maximum happiness soon! I also unlocked Lagomorphs, and I got my first one for free from Lee Berry Dennings!! She’s a young Blood Lagomorph named Spooks, and she is so cute! Some of the other highlights from the past few days have been Ertle (my Moon Cat) becoming an adult, earning 9 new badges, upgrading my tent to level 7 and unlocking a new room to decorate, buying some cute new items, learning some more new cooking and crafting recipes (some of which I hope to use for the first time soon!), and catching 8 new critters and 7 new fishes yesterday! I was having so much fun fishing and catching critters last night, I can’t believe how many new ones showed up, and all within just a couple of hours! I’m hoping to catch some more new stuff tonight. This game has been my biggest comfort this past week, I’m so grateful for it and so happy that I decided to get it!

𓇢𓆸 I was finally able to get myself in the mindset to start sending out Red Envelopes, and even received a few more myself! It’s been hard to motivate myself to participate in the Lunar New Year event with how awful I’ve been feeling, but I’m doing my best. Even if I’m not able to participate in any of the creative events, I at least want to help us reach our 2k Red Envelopes goal. But I think I’ve come up with an idea for my Flicker & Fortune entry that I like, so I’m hoping to be able to get started on it soon and do it justice!
𓇢𓆸 Bonk has also been an incredible comfort to me this past week. I was feeling especially depressive yesterday and didn’t have the energy to do anything but sit on the floor with her and rest my head on the coffee table, and she kept jumping up onto the table and rubbing up against my head and bonking her head into mine. She also cuddled with me tonight! She may or may not have kicked me out of the chair afterwards LOL, but I still adore her.
𓇢𓆸 I am still so grateful to my friends and for all of the beautiful messages that I have received as well. Feeling like this has been so lonely, but I am so thankful to everyone who has kept me in their thoughts and has taken the time to reach out. I know you all are busy and dealing with your own things, so it truly means a lot. I always feel so bad tagging people in here xnsjn, but there are a few friends in particular who have been so thoughtful to me and I just want to thank them again. @Zerous@.: Meri :.@-Mars- you 3 are so, so incredible and I am so thankful to you. Between the gorgeous art, the kind words and your friendship, I truly can’t thank you guys enough. Please feel free to tell me to shut up and stop tagging you XNSJNXDH, but genuinely thank you guys so, so much. I am eternally grateful
𓇢𓆸 My mom and I left food outside for the local wildlife again! We haven’t seen the bunnies in a few days, but the squirrels and the birds have been enjoying the food at least!
I’m so happy that you were able to talk to your mom a little bit about what’s been going on. I know it’s never easy, especially when you’re struggling so much, but I am so proud of you. I want more than anything for things to get better for you soon. Please don’t forget during all of this that you are a kind, incredible person, and you deserve so much. I hope you feel better soon. You know you can reach out to me any time for anything.

Thanks so much Xara. This means so much to me . Part of me honestly regrets telling her some since now both her and my dad are scared and she told my sister even though she said she wouldn’t. My dad more since he doesn’t treat his anxiety.

Jewels has been kinda “helping” distract me from intrusive thoughts with her usual whining and demand for attention; at the same time she made it impossible for me to sleep . I eventually had to lock her and spanky out of my room (spanky only because it wouldn’t be fair to let her in and not jewels) out since morning came and i still couldn’t sleep. I love her so much .
* I had a lot on my mind last night. So this morning, I got some writing done, which helped to calm down my mind
* Today was Valentine’s Day. I know it’s just a regular day to some people, but this day makes me really happy. <33333
* You know how I said we never got that sneak peek for the Paleteria game? Well, we got one TODAY! Liezel and Kaleb are apparently a canon couple. it also confirmed that Valentine’s Day will be one of the holidays in the game which I am very happy about. Not only do I love celebrating Valentine’s Day in animal crossing, but I also love celebrating it in the Flipline games (they are not based on real time, like animal crossing, but still).
I’m honestly not a fan of Mardi Gras in the games. It means no Valentine’s Day, since they are both February (even though MG can also be celebrated in March in real life) holidays in the game. Therefore, Mardi Gras means no Valentine’s Day.
* My brother got some chips and salsa for us to try. I think said he was gonna try ordering from a different place every week or two to see which places have the best chips and salsa, so that will be nice to experiment with. ^^
* I got Carrie in AC:GC. My favorite kangaroos that are available in this version are Astrid, Mahtilda, and Valise. But I think it’s interesting to have any kangaroo at all. ^^
* I went to Crazy Redd’s in City Folk for the first time today (on this file). He actually had a genuine painting for sale. I don’t know if this is true or not but villagers will complain about buying a fake painting from Redd’s if he’s currently selling a fake one, which they weren’t doing that, so I decided to risk it, and see if it was genuine, which it was. ^_^
Also, I had a really good experience, celebrating Valentine’s Day and animal crossing this year
AC:GC - As I mentioned, I got Valentine’s cards from all of my male villagers: Rex, Nate, Hector, Scoot, Apollo, and Octavian. I actually got some furniture from Apollo! <3333
(from what I heard, you get shirts for Valentine’s Day, if you have a low friendship, but if you have a high enough friendship, you’ll get furniture).
The letter you get is more wholesome too.
Apollo’s letter was adorable:
“Look, don’t go making a big deal over this or anything. Just take it. Just think of it as, I don’t know, just a little something for my precious little Shawna.”
Hector and Scoot basically just told me they often get sick of me even though I never did damn thing to them.
Oddly enough, Octavian’s letter was a lot more tame compared to Hector’s and Scoot’s.
AC:CF - I got a chocolate heart from Apollo
AC:NL - I got a chocolate heart from Rooney, a chocolate cake from Isabelle, and a cacao tree from “Mom”.
AC:NH - I got a white heart-shaped bouquet from Rooney.

Unfortunately, Wild World has zero acknowledgment whatsoever of Valentine’s Day. At least on Groundhog Day you, get a silly letter from “Mom” referring to Mr. Resetti.
- My boyfriend gave me a ring and a very sweet letter for Valentine's Day he's an absolute gem of a person and I love him to the end of the universe and back.
- My band director came back from her leave on Monday! It's been great to have her back.
- I just started a 5-day break from school! (Thank you, teacher's convention and Family Day)
- Our student teachers come back next week, so I finally get a break from my regular teachers.
I'm not happy about much today and didn't get a lot accomplished, but at least the Dallas Mavericks won their 6th game in a row by defeating the San Antonio Spurs 116-93! They've been on a good hot streak lately with the recent roster additions.
I've never really cared for this holiday, not in the past and not now. I'm ready for it to be the 15th.

☾ I played through the new Classic Fair event in Fashion Dreamer! I hadn’t touched the game since last month’s event eheh, but they brought me back at least for a bit with my love for steampunk aesthetics. I had fun updating my showroom and taking some photos of my Muses afterwards!
☾ And I watched a few Youtube videos with my family this evening! We got to see SmallishBeans’ latest Hermitcraft episode, Danny Gonzalez’s newest stuff, and a few other short videos.

I ended up with a grand total of 9 Valentines this year. Must be the fancy new perfume I'm rocking that may or may not have fallen off the back of a lorry.

☆ Went out for dinner with my partner's parents and her sister tonight. Had a wonderful time. Ate pulled pork tacos and got caught up on what's going on in everyone's lives. Also I got dog cuddles.
☆ After, her parents came back to our house. I made everyone tea, served up cupcakes, and we gave them the grand tour of our home. They hadn't seen it since the day we moved in and we have put so much effort into it. I was glad to see that they are happy with how we are living and the little life we are building together.
I had a good appointment with my new psychiatrist today. He adjusted my meds to help with my bipolar disorder symptoms and am hoping that it helps. He was very nice.
Speaking of med adjustments and bipolar I’ve slept a total of 6 hours in the past 96 hours which is not even remotely okay so I’m really hoping to get some good sleep tonight with the med adjustment.
I found some new to me music and have been listening to it all day and it just is great
I reactivated my Netflix Subscription so I can now watch shows on there again! I’m behind on a lot of shows because I cancelled it for like 6 months or longer.
I finished episode 3 of the first life is strange game last night, two more episodes left then I can move on to Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Loving the games
I paid my phone bill
I’m gonna try to go to sleep by 8 tonight and I’m letting myself sleep till at least 9am or 10am tomorrow god I really need it.
𓇢𓆸 I woke up today feeling better than I have this past week and a half! My mental health is still not in a good place, and the possibility of me feeling bad again later or when I wake up tomorrow is very real, but I’m grateful to feel at least a little bit better right now.
𓇢𓆸 Bonk has been so cute the past couple of days! Though, she’s never not cute. I was brushing her earlier and she was being so sweet about it, purring loudly and rubbing her face against my hand. I would’ve loved to take a pic of her, but one hand was brushing her and the other hand was petting her, so I sadly couldn’t. I was able to get some cute pics of her last night, though! She was chilling on my mom’s shower stool, since it’s apparently illegal for me to go to the bathroom without her. She’s also cuddling with me as I write this! I love my girl

𓇢𓆸 I saw one of the local bunnies last night! I was worried I had missed them since I didn’t know they had been out there until 8 minutes after my mom had seen them, and I was stood at the window for a while waiting to see if they were still out there and didn’t see anything, but they thankfully came back for some more food and I got to see them! I love bunnies
𓇢𓆸 I didn’t realize until earlier, but yesterday marked 2 weeks since I started playing Cozy Grove! A lot of exciting things have happened in-game since my last post! I met a new bear named Arjun Bhalla (who looks like an elderly ram! ), upgraded Mr. Kit’s shop’s catalog for the last time and can now finally buy inventory expansions!, found all 8 pieces of the treasure map and was able to craft it for the first time + found some cool stuff with it, got a new hairstyle and some new cute clothes, levelled up Jelly (my Eerie Bird) so that she’s now an adult, earned 9 new badges, and caught 6 new critters and 2 new fishes! I’m also getting closer to finding out what happened to all of the bears in Cozy Grove, and I think I have a good idea as to how they all passed away. It’s heartbreaking, and I know that continuing to help the bears recover their memories and who they were is gonna hurt so bad once they start remembering what happened to them. I’m especially worried for one of them, since it looks like it might’ve been their fault. If I’m right, I know I’m in for some heartbreaking moments with them later.
This game is lowkey so sad, but I’m still enjoying it a lot. I’m determined to help these bears!
