What are your preparations for the upcoming game ACNewHorizons?

Me i just filed a 6-day Vacation Leave from 19-24 just to play ACNH all day!! Also I pre-ordered the ACNH console and plan to transfer all my games/data to my soon to be new switch as soon as i get it. I am also rebuilding my dreamies to match the initial concept i have in my mind for my island. Also I am rewatching all ACNH vids. So ya?ll what are you doing in preparation for the new game?

I booked off the 19th and 20th to have a four day weekend to play ACNH. I've also pre-ordered the ACNH console and plan to transfer my games and data over.

I've downloaded DaVinci Resolve 16 and I'll be spending the next few weekends learning how to use it as I want to make videos of my island.

I have also saved pictures to use as references for the garden I plan to make on my island and I'll work on coming up with an exact design.

The only preparation I’m doing is figuring out what I’ll name my town, and figuring out what I’ll need to reset my town for on day one (whenever that info starts to come in). Aside from that I’m just going to go into the game blind.

I help out my family's business and I work from home at the moment so my play schedule is already quite flexible. I'll be playing as much as I can the weekend of launch though! I also freed up a ton of space on my console storage and SD card storage in preparation of all the cute videos and pictures I'm going to take :')

i’ve started saving money for the switch, the game and the switch online subscription.

i’ve also started thinking about what i’ll name my island, what villagers i want, what i want my native fruit to be and how i’m going to design everything ^~^

since im playing with a friend, we are organising for her to crash at mine that night and probably spend the weekend at mine. we are also hoping to make ac themed cupcakes (okay she will be, i have uni the day before sadly).

The game is going to release while I'm in college, so I'm thinking of picking it up once I finish my classes. Though it's in rush hour, and I have a ton of things to bring, but that's not gonna stop me from buying the game for me and my sister!

Yes, it's a video editor. I want to do video tours of my island starting from Day 1 to show how it changes over time. I've got a lot to learn - I've never done video editing before!

I'm still working on other ideas for videos too.

That's great you guys are taking off! It's going to be like a vacation when this game finally drops. I'm currently working double on my workload so by the time game is released I'll have a week straight to play.

I plan to have the game pre-loaded but I'm not sure I'll play right at midnight. I want to take a bunch of starting pictures but I'd like it to be daylight in the game as well as the shops (tents) being opened.

New Leaf was released early in Japan before my country so I was able to plan more with regards to the type of map I wanted. I won't have that this time around so I'm not sure what to aim for. I do want peaches as my starting fruit though.
