What are your preparations for the upcoming game ACNewHorizons?

Nothing really. Just wanting to jump into it and enjoy myself as much as possible. As the release date draws closer my excitement is definitely growing though.

March... Oh no. Autumn. The next worst season to winter.

It will be the dead orange leaves.

I've always started in winter, and it doesn't snow here, making the game a bit depressing, but Autumn is almost as bad.

It would be awesome to set your island to an endless summer! Yeah. That would rock.

Nothing to prepare. My customers usually scheduled 3-6 months ahead, so I will be busy for work anyways..
And since it's tax season, busy working on my personal and company tax

Not really much to prepare. I've got spring break that week, so I'll be off anyway. I've already owned a Switch for a while now, so no new console. Game was preordered last year and got my Switch online subscription already. Entire AC amiibo line, both cards and figures, is complete. All I need is a big enough memory card, and I'm all set!

Congrats! The most games I ever payed was the few months after my son was born and I was just at home. I also had an unexpected c-section.

Now am working full time so it will be hard, but I'm sure I can set some time aside.

So after a bit of thought, I think that the real preparation is the willingness to sit in front of my computer monitor resetting or a desired island map layout I like for the next 6-8 hours I get home with the game, lol.

I have made a costum notebook for my island! I also plan on making checklists for all of the bugs,fish, art... I'll also be taking a picture everyday and next year 20th march I'll be making a collage of all the pictures to see how my island has developed over the year uwu

I took a long weekend off work for the game (Friday and Monday off additionally), though I feel like I'm still not prepared for the game. I'm not sure if I want the villager to have my name or not and I'm still thinking of a cute name for my island which is becoming difficult.

I also want to make either an instagram or a tumblr page dedicated to ACNH but I haven't decided which one yet. Maybe both, who knows.

I work from home and I'm my own boss, I mostly bake stuff and sell them here in the tiny shop my parents have. So what I'm gonna do is either on the 18th or the 19th (depending if amazon decides to be crazy and send the game earlier) I'm gonna bake like two batches of carrot muffins so that they last thru the whole weekend, at least that's the plan, we'll see what happens closer to release

I took a vacation day for the 20th and 23rd. Four day weekend, I'm so excited.

The week before, I'll be setting up my new ac switch, it's my first one.

I made sure I was able to log into my nintendo accounts and looked into nintendo online services. I plan on buying digitally once I get the switch going.

If anyone can recommend a screen protector, I'd appreciate it. Seems like the reviews for the one that comes with the case I ordered are not very good.
