• Nook explained which duties him and Isabelle will be helping with

• Bought the last expanision for my inventory at the Nook Stop
• Started working on Nooks plan for project K.K. by crafting and placing the campsite
• Donated all new bugs, fish, and fossils I found today to the museum
• Mable visited for the first time today. I bought simple parka, outback hat, and round tinted shades from her
• Harvested my fruit trees and sold them at another island for a higher price
• Found a new DIY recipe in a message in a bottle

This was actually yesterday, but it was quite late when I finally finished everything ahaha. ;w;

• I cleaned up almost all the furniture and dropped items on my island! I left the furniture around my Able Sisters' since I'm not sure if I want to move them yet or not, but everything else was taken to storage.
• Culled my extra flowers (except for my lilies of the valley, because they're my favorites), sold off my bushes (RIP), and cut down all the trees except for those on the beach. Managed to survive all the wasp attacks I was subjected to.
• Moved my last three remaining villagers to the beach.
• Took down the second layer of cliffs. I left the first layer, since I figured that would probably mean less work in the long run when I get into terraforming.
• Demolished all my bridges and filled in the rivers.

Today . . .

* Harvested all my wheat, sugarcane, tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots across my two produce fields.
* Turned half the wheat and sugarcane into flour and sugar.
* Caught and sold almost $100,000 (well, 100,000 bells) worth of fish and insects.
* Welcomed Flo to her first full day on my island. Already she was a huge help---she was the first I saw after finding somebody's lost book and suggested it might be Paula's---which proved to be right.
* Rejected those sneaky you-know-whats Curlos and Bones trying to hustle me out of freshly-acquired items for less than I knew of their market value.
* Caught my 13th great white shark (yes, I've been counting!) since the sharks arrived at the beginning of the month/year.
* Gifted all my villagers.
* Watered all the flowers and my produce fields.

The last few days I've adopted out six of my cat villagers in preparation for deleting this island forever. The latest move out is Kid Cat, who took close to 3 hours of tt to get a move out bubble. Still waiting to see what replaces him. So far I've gotten decent randoms including two wolves.

Today:

* Harvested wheat, sugarcane, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, and watered my two produce fields.
* Finally got to give new villager Flo (penguin) the welcome gift I was saving for her---a South Pole.
* Caught five hammerheads between my island and a remote island.
* Began to change my living room---got rid of my thick box sofa corners and bought a pair of wingback
patchwork chairs plus a standard type of sofa.
* Built a stone square in front of the re-located museum on the other side of its street, and placed a shell fountain
and drinking fountain there.
* Installed snack machine and drink machine on either side of the museum.
* Gifted all my villagers.
* Passed 13,000,000 bells in the bank. If bells were dollars I'd have more money than I could ever know what to do with even after making appropriate charitable contributions! (And I'd be making about $8 million in charitable donations off that kind of real-world bank if I had it. Maybe more.)
* Changed my kitchen wallpaper to black brick. What a difference!

Today:
* Put the wingback patchwork chairs and the "cool" sofa into my living room---after I took the "cool" sofa to be customised blue with brown feet. (It came in a kind of burnt-orange colour.)
* Put a cypress plant on each side of the patchwork chairs and an old-style floor lamp between them.
* Watered my flowers, the high cliffs' flowers, various flowers around the island, and those of my villagers.
* Watered my produce fields.
* Caught about 50,000 bells worth of bugs with Flick visiting the island today.
* Met Rod (mouse, jock) at the campsite since he's visiting the island. He's not half as obnoxious as jock types go as Axel was, and he actually has a sports knowledge that's deeper than just the muscle stuff. But it's a challenge trying to convince him to move to the island. (My hope: if he finally agrees to move in, the one to turn up wanting to move out will be Curlos, who's become a real pain in the ass.)
* Gifted my villagers.
* Finally got to see Flo's house all set up---the lady's quite clever with those two thick ice walls partioning her bathroom and shower from the main living area. (And that huge round rose bed is a kick.)
* Noticed that, since I placed a juke box next to the plaza, the villagers are now all singing different songs instead of that one high-wailing, Theodore Chipmunk voice-like descending drivel! (Lolly, Flo, and Pekoe especially are getting into that.)

• Checked the mail...Inside I found two letters from Nook Inc with one of them having a gift attached (Nook Inc, Leotard), and the 5 items I had ordered from Nook Shopping yesterday.
• Checked Nook Cranny to see what they were selling ~ Bought the painting set, anatomical model, and standing toilet
• Completed some Nook mile+ achievements
• Visted Pancetti and welcomed her to the Island
• Found a new DIY recipe in a message in a bottle while fishing on the beach
• During a Nook mile+ achievement for Diving, I found a scallop and agreed to give it to Pascal and in exchange he gave me a mermaid table recipe
• Received the daily 300 bonus nook miles
• Bought the waterscape permit
• Checked Nook Shopping and bought 5 items
• Hit all the rocks around the Island
• Donated all the new bugs, fish, and fossils I found to the museum

So Avalon's been sitting pretty at 5 stars for a while, but I'm not entirely satisfied with it. My little sister started a character and abandoned it almost immediately, so there's a house smack dab in the middle of my island. I'm thinking of demolishing it.

Before I moved out my little brother and I played a lot together, and he liked to plant flowers everywhere. It looks like an overgrown mess. (He's got his own Switch and island now, so I don't mind undoing his work. I would never demolish his house, though.) I'm in the process of digging up and selling the common flowers. I'm also breeding hybrids to plant in patterns around Avalon and bring with me to my brother's island. I actually bred my first gold roses a few days ago!

The sheer number of flowers I'm removing might knock me down to a 4 star rating, but that's okay. I've got enough lilies of the valley.

For once, I have a new excuse as to why I fell behind on posting!

I got to go on an actual vacation! I've never actually had one before! It was weird, due to that fact (I'm used to always having stuff needing to be done and no funds to use), but it was great! I can see now why people enjoy them!

Back to the task at hand...I have the recorded entries from before I left, and one entry from after I came home (which is today's). Let's see how long I can keep myself focused before I forget to post again!

• Found a lost book in three snowboy field; judging by the description, there were three possible villagers it could belong to. I decided to ask Pekoe, who'd been the closest to me at the time; it turned out to belong to Rhonda.
• Made a perfect snowboy today, made me pretty happy recieved a single large snowflake ❄
• Found Slider in the plaza; he played K.K. Swing.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

11/8 (logged in REALLY late)
• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 236,829 points, the same as last week.
• Recieved a Frozen Pillar in the mail from yesterday's snowman.
• Since it was so late, I checked in with a few villagers who were still awake (I'd travelled a timezone by then, but my Switch had stayed on my home time). Said hi to Gayle, Plucky, Kitty, and Mathilda.
• Made another perfect snowman, recieved a large snowflake ❄
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Discovered an announcement for the upcoming fishing tourney...but as I was going to be on a ship at that time IRL, I had to accept the fact that I was going to end up missing it. Oh well...
• Dug up the gyroid fragment from yesterday; retrieved a Rattloid!
• Decided to clear out some storage space.

Unintended Hiatus while on vacation, got sucked into Pokemon Legends again while I was out, and didn't return until almost a week after coming home. Had a lotta fun, though!

• Logged in after a long hiatus, was surprised to find that my mailbox wasn't stuffed, and that my hair hadn't gotten outta hand like in New Leaf. Recieved a frozen counter in the mail from the last snowboy I'd made.
• This week's HHA S-rank put us at 236,829 points, the same as the week before I went on vacation.
• Isabelle mentioned that Label was visiting today. Apparently, her idea of gothic clothing and mine didn't match this week... oh well, her loss.
• Checked in with every villager I could find today (the inky ones I couldn't were Pekoe and Kitty, so I'll be tracking them down tomorrow). They all seemed pretty happy I was back, and I'll admit, the familiarity of it all was comforting.
• Gayle invited me over to her house for a visit. I won a soccer-uniform top off of her in a card game, and she gave me a copy of Bubblegum K.K. when it was time to leave.
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Ended up both clearing out a bunch of weeds and digging up a lot of fossils.
• Made a perfect snowboy! Hopefully the next three will turn out the same so I can farm large snowflakes again

* Continued replacing ugly wood fences with hedge fences. (I got the recipe a few days ago!) Look way better
in helping keep the flowers from spreading too wide.
* Gifted my villagers.
* Had four coffee breaks in the Roost.
* Made over $150,000 in bells between sales to the Store and to Flick on the plaza during the rest of Bug-Out day.
* Hosted a visit from Pekoe.
* Traveled to two remote islands (one by Nook ticket, one by Kapp'n) and actually found two pieces of gold . . . and two Napoleon fish, one on each island.

Today I donated 15 creatures to Blathers to build the museum and gave Timmy all items to build shop. I built a perfect Snowboy, did group stretching for the very first time, hit all my rocks, and gathered my daily resources. Only tool I'm missing now is ladder. I finished all the + achievements on my Nook phone. Also planted all fruit and completed Fruit roots. A very productive day.

• Checked in with Kitty and Pekoe, seeing as I wasn't able to last night. Kitty seemed angry about it, but also looked relieved to see that nothing was wrong.
• Dug up the gyroid fragment from yesterday; retrieved a Bendoid!
• Didn't quite make a perfect snowman today got a large snowflake from the other one, though ❄
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

1/22 (Francine's Birthday!)
• Got wished a Happy Lunar New Year from Isabelle and most of the other island residents.
• There was a visitor at the campsite today: Avery the Eagle.
• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 236,829 points, the same as last week.
• Y'all already know I forgot yet another villager's birthday; this time, it was Francine's (Although, since she did move here recently, it makes a bit of sense that I forgot; still, not an excuse...). My "brilliant" mind decided to give her some Carrot Cake I made as a last-minute gift, and I was fairly convinced she might kill me for it; luckily for me, however, she liked it. While it went over without a hitch, I must still endeavor to do better in the future.
• Failed once again to make a perfect snowman (rotten little passive-aggressive brats...), but still got a large snowflake from the first one ❄
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Found Daisy Mae at the counter!
