What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

I actually reset my island a few days ago. I am the habitual restarter type. But I’m thinking of a theme for this island.

Anyway, today, I got the ladder, and I placed the three houses: The villagers who are moving in are Zucker, Tammi, and Deena. I was actually deciding between Tammi or Flora as my Peppy dreamie, so let’s GOOOOOO 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
 
Not as eventful as yesterday, but I did unlock customization, welcome Zucker to Utopia, and bought my first painting from Redd. I pulled up a guide, so hopefully the painting is genuine.

Tomorrow, I’m thinking of buying a lot of fishing bait from someone so I can go grinding for the stringfish. Grinding for clams on my own is extremely tedious.

I’m honestly thinking of getting rid of all my cliff tops later this year once I catch the cherry salmon, char, and golden trout. I’m wanting to have a flat island with my river running on the south western corner of my island along where the two River mouths are (one on the western and the other on the southern part). yeah, that’s probably what I’ll do. I will also have some ponds.

1/23 (very late day)
• Recieved a thank-you gift in the mail from Francine (I'm still relieved that the carrot cake didn't offend her)
• Got some sweet pictures of the night sky!
• Saw a few shooting stars, so I made a few wishes.
• Visited the Roost for a late-night cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Screwed up yet another snowman, but still got a large snowflake from the first one ❄
• Actually remembered that Rhonda's birthday was tomorrow, so I scrambled to find a gift for her. Luckily, I remembered that I'd purchased a black Nintendo Switch Lite to give her a while back, and it was sitting in storage. I'll be making a trip to Nook's Cranny tomorrow for some wrapping paper.
• Ended up having a late night visit from Francine. She gave me a full-length dress with pearls, and I won a peacoat-and-skirt combo off of her in a card game.

1/24 (Rhonda's Birthday!)
• Acquired wrapping paper from Nook's Cranny and immediately headed over to Rhonda's house. With Kitty already there, I handed over the present; Rhonda apparently loved it 💜
• Found a single star fragment on the beach.
• Made a perfect snowman today!
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!

1/25
• Isabelle mentioned that Kicks was visiting today; I made sure to pay him a visit and check out his inventory.
• Recieved a thank-you gift in the mail from Rhonda; another copy of her photo! 💜 also recieved some Ice Flooring from yesterday's snowman.
• Checked in with a few villagers.
• Made another perfect snowman, and recieved a large snowflake from the previous one ❄
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Helped Patty smooth over a disagreement with Mathilda by delivering a present in her place. Mathilda appreciated the gift and agreed to go make up. I accidentally worried Patty after button-mashing my way through the dialog, but she was at least still happy I helped out.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

1/26 (short day)
• Isabelle mentioned that Saharah was visiting today; as usual, I bought the esteemed camel out
• Recieved a frozen tree in the mail from yesterday's snowman.
• Made another perfect snowman, recieved large snowflakes from the other two ❄❄
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
 
January 27th
  • Isabelle told me that cj was visiting
  • Met cj for first time and completed his challenge of finding 3 big fish in a row
  • I completed some Nook mile + achievements and got the bonus Nook miles from the Nook Stop
  • I ordered 5 items from Nook shopping
  • I donated new fossils, bugs, and fish that i found
  • Hit all the rocks on the Island to get more Iron ore and clay
  • Chopped down a couple of trees that was in the way of placing a path

For the first time, ever since I paid off the house and was able to change its features. I changed my house exterior (from 2nd row 1st column to 1st row 2nd column) and switched the fencing around it from zen fence which went with the look of the house look I had to the iron fence. Looks kinda like the house I'm in for real.

I also donated two pieces of real art: amazing painting and graceful painting. Just two more pieces of artwork left and the museum will be fully finished.
 
1/27
• Isabelle warned us of the risks involved with buying art from shady sources; Redd was back in town. Unfortunately, I already had genuine copies of the pieces on display, so I bought some furniture to keep him happy.
• Recieved a frozen arch in the mail from yesterday's snowman.
• Made another perfect snowman, recieved three large snowflakes from the others ❄❄❄
• Ended up going with Pietro to his house for an impromptu visit (this is what I get for multitasking and button-mashing...). Won a breaker off of him in a card game, and was given a desert outfit as a parting gift.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Deposited a lot of bells into savings.

1/28 (snowing)
• Isabelle happily announced that Slider was back in town; later in the day, I attended the show, and he played Marine Song 2001.
• Received some ice flooring in the mail from yesterday's snowman.
• Made another perfect snowman, recieved three large snowflakes from the others ❄❄❄
• Finally realized I'd forgotten to dig up the gyroid fragment I'd found on Wednesday, so I went to retrieve it; it was a Squeezoid.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
 
Today in Valencia, I...
Welcomed Fauna to the Island (my starter normal)
Had my first dream in-game (the Island was named Dumdar)
And that's it! Not very eventful, but hey. What can you do?
 
January 29th
  • Dug up 1k bells from the daily glowing spot
  • Talked to all of the villagers
  • Hit all the rocks on the island
  • Completed a couple of nm+ achievements
  • Today, isabelle announced that we have a visitor at the campsite, so i quickly set off to see who it was; it was Harry the hippo! I decided against inviting him due to not liking his design
  • Picked up all the fallen tree branches on the island
  • Found and pulled all the weeds
  • Picked up all the items I had laying on the ground and put them in storage
  • Able sisters finally opened in Cabot Cove; Mabel gave me a tour when I went inside. I bought a couple different shirts, dresses, sunglasses, hats, socks, and shoes.
  • Stopped by Nook’s to see what they had for sale today; Bought all furniture, and a couple of cedar and tree saplings.
  • Picked up all the shells on the beach and found a giant clam
  • Harvested the fruit orchard trees and potatoes and went to Nook's and sold what I harvested
  • Went diving and caught a few deep-sea creatures
  • Found and dug up the daily fossils
  • Participated in a group stretching session
  • Checked the recycling bin at Resident services
  • claimed the 300 bonus nook miles from the nook stop terminal
  • Bought 5 items from Nook shopping
  • Shovel broke so i crafted a flimsy then a regular shovel
  • Bought a bunch of turnips from Daisy Mae
  • Held a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Able sisters
 
I restarted a week ago and have been so busy. Ables and new Resident Services building arrived yesterday. Quinn and Hamlet are my starters. O'Hare was my forced camper. Those three villagers will be leaving my island at earliest possible convenience. Basically I've been tting day by day doing my daily chores: building perfect Snowboys, group stretching, and gifting my three lovely cat villagers Mitzi, Bob, and Merry.
I'll next start looking for more cat villagers to fill my island. Hopefully I can find them soon.

• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 236,829 points, the same as last week.
• Recieved some ice flooring in the mail from yesterday's snowman.
• Dug up two gyroids that popped up gettin yesterday's snowfall: an Arfoid and a Boomoid!
• Made another perfect snowman, recieved three large snowflakes from the others ❄❄❄
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.


All in all, pretty short day.
 
January 30th
  • Dug up 1k bells from the daily glowing spot.
  • Talked to all of the villagers; Learned how to make a tree standee from Genji who was crafting,
  • Gathered materials from all the trees and rocks.
  • Completed a couple of nm+ achievements.
  • Isabelle announced that Flick was visiting; Caught a few bugs and sold them to him.
  • Stopped by Able sisters and Nook Cranny to see what they had for sale; Bought a raincoat at Ables that I desperately needed since it was pouring rain on the island and bought all the furniture at Nooks.
  • Picked up all the shells on the beach and found a giant clam.
  • Went diving and caught some deep-sea creatures; Sold them at Nooks.
  • Found and dug up the daily fossils.
  • Participated in a group stretching session.
  • Checked the recycling bin at Resident services; Took out the cardboard boxes and sold them at Nooks.
  • claimed the 300 bonus nook miles from the nook stop terminal.
  • Bought 5 items from Nook shopping.
  • Sold some of my turnips on someone else’s island for 426 bells per turnip.
  • Went on a boat tour with Kapp'n and he took me to an island that looked normal with nothing of interest on it.
  • Finished paying my home loan and had Nook expand it further to add a second floor.
 
1/30
• Isabelle mentioned that Label was visiting today; passed her Comfy Challenge with flying colors, recieved a pair of Labelle Socks in thanks.
• Recieved a frozen tree in the mail from yesterday's snowman.
• Got startled by falling stars, made a few wishes!
• Made another perfect snowman, recieved three large snowflakes from the others ❄❄❄
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Found an item at Nook's Cranny that I didn't have yet, which I snatched up in a heartbeat.
 
Yesterday in Valencia...
The campsite was built!
The Nooklings got their store, and I quickly put it to use when I needed campsite crafting materials.
I received the gifts from my first 3 villagers, which were an Angled Sign from Sherb, a Rice Cooker from Fauna, and a sandcastle from Rosie.
Got my first Camper! it was chops.... why me.
I went villager hunting with 4 tickets, and somehow found 2 cats in those 4, which were Purrl (1) and Punchy (last, and the taken one).
Chops moved in. I (reluctantly) welcomed him.
 
Julian just dropped by to give me his photo! He was my first campsite villager and the only smug villager that's lived on Avalon. I'm not entirely sure where I should put it.
 
January 31st
  • Today Genji decided to leave; I supported their decision.
  • I cut down a few trees and moved flowers to the beach so I could finish laying down the path for the road.
  • I put down a dirt path leading to Ables and planted some cedar trees.
  • I started decorating the area my house was at. I wanted to put a log fence along the side of the road as like a gate you enter and have the dirt path leading to my house, but unfortunately I did not have the log fence diy so I quickly went to a giveaway treasure island I found on twitch and grabbed the diy.
  • I crafted and placed the fence and decided to finish working on the area tomorrow.
  • I gathered all the materials from the trees and rocks
  • Did a couple nm+ achievements
  • Picked up all the shells on the beach and found a giant clam
  • Stopped by Ables and Nooks to see what they had for sale; bought a couple clothes from Ables and all furniture from Nooks
  • Checked the recycling bin at Resident Services

• Decided to pick out and wrap gifts to deliver to my villagers tomorrow (ended up having to buy some wrapping paper, as I found out that I didn't have enough in storage).
• Deposited a lot of belts into savings.
 
February 1st

Pecan just invited herself over and gave me her photo! That's two photos in two days :lemon: I think most of my villagers are probably ready for that. I just don't give them presents very often. Tomorrow I'll try that out and see what happens.
