• Nook announced that the Cabot Cove Museum was under construction and Timmy and Tommy's new shop is now opened.
• Checked the mail ~ Received a letter from Daisy Mae and a gift that Gulliver sent me for helping him yesterday
• I dug up all the fossils and put them on the ground next to the construction site of the museum to be assessed and donated tomorrow
• Visited Nooks Cranny ~ Bought a wet suit, some flowers, DIY recipes, a slingshot, an accessory stand, and a wall mounted candle
• Held the ceremony to celebrate the completion of Nooks Cranny
• Crafted the bridge construction kit and placed it on the Island

* Caught two snakeheads in the pond on Bells Island. (Usually, catching one anywhere in a single day is an achievement!)
* Listened to K.K. Slider in the plaza awhile.

• Placed the 3 villager plots and crafted and placed the exterior furniture as well as turn in the interior furniture
• Found Redd walking around on the cliff ~ Bought the mystic statue from him
• Found a new DIY recipe in the daily message in a bottle
• Visited Nook Cranny and bought some new furniture and a new DIY recipe
• Donated all the new bugs, fish, and fossils I found to the museum

* Got with Tom Nook to move the museum from behind the Resident Services building to a choice spot across
the river behind it for easier access and a more scenic setting.
* Watered my two produce fields and my flowers plus my neighbours' flowers and the golden roses in our little
fountain park and next to the far river side.
* Gave all ten of my villagers gifts.
* Caught a hammerhead shark, ocean sunfish, and blue marlin.
* Caught five Atlas moths (usually I'm lucky to find one or two tops).
* Installed wall air conditioners in my bedroom, kitchen, living room, office, and basement, after buying them

She's nice enough (and an intellectual after my own heart, loving books and poetry and writing as much as I do!) that I'm tempted to invite her to come live on the island (if I could be sure one villager I wouldn't mind seeing depart would be the one who's asking to move out).
* Unearthed four fossils.
* Watered mine and everyone else's flowers plus all the gold roses and lilies of the valley.

I recently uploaded my DA for my current island because I'll be deleting it soon. Yesterday I adopted out Ankha to a cool user on Bell Tree. Julia randomly moved in after Ankha left. Got the items I want to save from this island organized to drop off on someone's island in the coming days. Just waiting on more kitty adoptions before I reset. This is the most I've played the game in months.

Today . . .

* Lolly (cat) arrived at her new house and spends the day cleaning and unpacking.
* Maelle (duck) huffily pronounced that she absolutely must broaden her horizons and leave the island. My policy is usually to await a fifth inquiry from a villager about whether to leave, but she was full of attitude enough that I said, "Don't forget to write!" (That was actually one of the options.) She's the only one of any of my villagers who didn't ask first, just said flat out she must go. That she did it on Lolly's arrival day also made me a tad suspicious, since there's a superficial resemblance between Maelle's house and Lolly's house. (Same colours, but Maelle's front outside wall is bricked and Lolly's isn't.)
* Found four fossils.
* Landed first scarab beetle. (Poor Blathers!)
* It rained so heavily on Wednesday that I limited today's watering to just the lilies of the valley (my island now has fifteen!) and the gold roses in one patch next to one wing of the river and surrounding the fountain in the little fountain park I built next to the other wing of the river.
* Gifted all my villagers with assorted clothes and implements, though when Pekoe told me earlier she couldn't decided on dinner I made her some spaghetti marinara.
* Changed my kitchen wallpaper to black brick---and it looks fantastic if I do say so myself.
