What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Didn't quite get around to posting last night as planned. Oh well, it is what it is.


4/23 (raining)
• There was a visitor at the campsite today; Freya the Wolf! (She'd been one of my villagers in New Leaf!) Although I tried to convince her to move in, she wanted to replace Mathilda, so I ended up declining. I'll just have to keep an eye out for her the next time I have to hunt for a new villager...
• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 243,345 points, the same as last week.
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then ordered some more.
• Chatted with everyone I ran into, including Buck (deep in an indoor workout). He also warned me that Plucky was sick, so I made sure to buy her some medicine (I ALMOST forgot, but remembered just as I was getting ready to leave).
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!

4/24
• Isabelle gave us advice on what to do should we find someone passed out on the beach; Gullivarrr had washed ashore again. I came back later to help him out, and it took me a little longer to find the phone than I would've liked...
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail, put them into storage, and then proceeded to order some more.
• Chatted with everyone I came across. I found Buck hard at work, crafting a stacked-wood wall.
• Dug up a Babbloid and a Thwopoid that popped up from yesterday's rain.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Deposited a LOT of bells into savings.
• Caught an atlas Moth! That'll come in handy...
• Gayle showed up at my house for an impromptu visit as I was putting the moth into storage. She gave me an orange.

4/25 (raining)
• Isabelle mentioned that Label was visiting today. Although I did pass her Goth challenge, I'm likely only getting one tailor's ticket tomorrow. Recieved a pair of Labelle tights as thanks.
• Recieved a red pirate bandana in the mail from Gullivarrr. Also took out last night's purchases, put them into storage, and then ordered some more.
• Chatted with Buck (building a bamboo wall decoration).
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Also got to see Nook stop by!
 
26/04/23

- went diving, caught a dungeness crab + snow crab. also gave pascal my scallop and got a mermaid wall clock DIY + some wisdom. spent too long trying to catch what i thought might have been a snow crab but it was a spider crab (prev. donated). won't lie, i'm tired
- gave wrapped fruit to hornsby, quinn, leopold + rory. visited quinn's house and also got a hand-knit tank from leopold
- got the mushroom crepe DIY from blaire
- dug up some flowers. sold unwanted diving stuff at the drop off box
- donated a detailed painting to blathers from redd. bought a basic painting from redd todayy
- hit up the roost for coffee
 
4/26
• Isabelle mentioned that C.J. was visiting today; still lacking in collectible specimens, all I did was wave hello.
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then promptly ordered some more. Also, recieved a single tailor's ticket in the mail from Label (friggin KNEW that was gonna happen...).
• Dug up a Wallopoid and a Bloopoid that popped up from yesterday's rain.
• Chatted with Buck (making brown-sugar pound cake). He also gave me a jockey's helmet, saying it would compliment my outfit.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
 
4/27
• Isabelle mentioned that Flick was visiting today; I almost forgot that I had bugs for him, so I ended up dragging them outta storage from my shed once I came across him. Made a nice sum!
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then went and bought some more.
• Chatted with Buck (dusting his furniture). Decided to chat with everyone else I ran into, as well.
• "Puddin'" fever has struck Shione; with the addition of Patty, over 50% of the island now calls me that. Does this mean I have to dress up as the Joker now? 🤣
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
 
4/28 (raining)
• Isabelle warned us of the risks involved with buying art from shady sources; Redd was back in town. Unfortunately, none of the pieces he had on display were genuine except for one that I already have, so I bought some instant noodles to keep him happy.
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail, then went and ordered some more. To my surprise, the rain also stopped a few minutes later at 9pm.
• Chatted with Buck (making a peach smoothie).
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today, and got to see Kapp'n swing by!
• The rain returned at 10pm, so I had to scramble to grey my rain gear out.
• Immediately got jumped by a tarantula on my way from the store due to not swinging my net fast enough. 😖
• Deposited a lot of bells into savings.
 
Last night-
One player from each island completed May Day to get their 2nd Item from Rover
Requested songs for Players that need the Nook Miles task. One needs 5 more songs.
 
Failed to post the last two nights 😖 maybe I should start playing and recording earlier in the day...


4/29
• Isabelle happily announced that Slider was back in town; later, I attended the show, and he played Stale Cupcakes.
• Recieved a notice from Nook that the May Day trip was now available. Thinking I'll go on May 1st.
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then went and bought some more.
• Chatted with Buck (shopping at the Able Sisters)
• Dug up a Bubbloid and a Whirroid that popped up from yesterday's rain.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

4/30

• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then went and bought some more.
• Buck apparently came up with a new nickname for me: "Champ". Since it wasn't too out there, I decided to let him use it. However, I'm thinking he'll be the only one allowed to do so; since he's the jock, I feel like it would sound weird coming from anyone else.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Went around and put up the Easter decor. A few other things went up, though not much.
• Checked out some custom designs.

5/1
• Isabelle mentioned that Flick was visiting today; having no bugs to sell him, all I did was wave hello.
• Recieved a knapsack in the mail from in-game Mom. Also took out last night's purchases, put them into storage, and then ordered some more.
• Helped Plucky deliver a gift to Buck: a purple comedian's outfit. Didn't actually look half bad, and he seemed happy about it, so I'd say it went well. Got a delivery jacket as thanks.
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Went on the May Day tour, and IMMEDIATELY regretted it. Lost my temper after having to restart FOUR times, all because I kept screwing up my fruit usage. Still, I was getting those nine vouchers no matter what. And at the very least, the NM+ goals I completed ended up replenishing most of the miles I had to use to keep restarting...
• Returned home still irritated, and though I'd planned to redecorate my back room, I decided to call it.

5/2
• Isabelle warned us of the risks involved with buying art from shady sources; Redd was back in town. Unfortunately, I already had genuine copies of each display piece, so I bought a dreamy rabbit toy to keep him happy.
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail, put them into storage, then went and bought some more. Also retrieved the nine bell vouchers from yesterday, and recieved a second copy of Rover's photo.
• Found a lost book at the campgrounds. After taking a look and finding out it was a comic, I knew exactly who it belonged to; Patty was thrilled to have it back, as she'd been pretty sure she'd lost it for good. Got a nurse's cap in thanks.
• Chatted with Buck (chilling at home). Also chatted with everyone else I ran into.
• Dug up the gyroid fragment from yesterday; retrieved a Sproingoid!
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to see Isabelle drop by!
• Saw two notices on the bulletin board: The next fishing tourney is happening this Saturday, and Patty's birthday is coming up on the 10th!
 
Short day today.


5/3
• Isabelle mentioned that Leif was visiting today, but I didn't make any purchases.
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then went and bought some more.
• Chatted with Buck (hanging out with Plucky and Gayle in the plaza), along with everyone else I ran across.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Checked out some custom designs.
 
For the most part I am at the point where I’m working on getting 5 stars and flower breeding so just order some items and watered flowers.

Did some fishing and bug catching to make bells to order the next batch of items.

Also took a minute to do a couple of houses on HHP.
 
5/4
• There was a visitor at the campsite today: Olaf the Anteater. I remember seeing him a few times at Paradise Planning, which also reminds me I haven't been there in a while...
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then went and bought some more. Once I'm done getting through the dress-up section, I think I'll lay off on stockpiling for a while.
• Found C.J. wandering aimlessly near Rhonda's house. Still lacking in collectible specimens, I just waved hello.
• Chatted with Buck (engrossed in a fitness magazine), who randomly gave me a pair of patched-knee pants, and also warned me that Patty was sick.
• Also chatted with everyone else I ran into. Found Gayle unintentionally blocking traffic, as she had decided to sit down directly in the center of a pathway to enjoy her sandwich.
• Hit rocks with my shovel for materials.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Hit the store, bought some medicine, and then headed over to Patty's house. She was overjoyed.
 
♡ Got all three villager homes set up today and are ready to move in.
♡ Cleaned up the last part of my island of weeds.
♡ Did some Nook Miles tasks today to continue saving up some more.
♡ Caught a few more bugs, fish and sea critters.
♡ Did the daily chores of digging up fossils, chopping wood, etc.
 
Might be late on posts until the TLoZ Splatoon event is over, but I'll still try to be on time 👍

• Isabelle gave us a weather announcement: we were in for a meteor shower tonight... (more on that later)
• Took last night's purchases out of the mail and put them into storage, then went and bought some more.
• Found a bottle on the beach with a recipe inside for making a mushroom crepe!
• Found Gulliver zonked out on the beach; it luckily didn't take long to find his phone's missing parts.
• Also found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Rex was thinking about moving away, but I changed his mind. Chatted with him for a bit afterwards to reassure him (On another note, he asked me if I'd had a snack yet today, which reminded me that I needed to take my meds--since I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached, I was actually very grateful for the unintended reminder)
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Found Celeste at the counter!
• Chatted with Buck (out for a jog).
• Decided to wait until nightfall to stargaze...but when I finally did return, I realized I had done so WAY too late (think 1AM late). Oops 😖
 
Town got ready for the Town Hall overhaul

Welcomed Sherb into my neighborhood - 2 of the 3 villager homes you get initially I could "decide" upon myself with 3 tickets and I was almost speechless when the third/random villager turned out to be Sherb whom I like a lot

• Caught a few rare butterflies! Now I'm debating on whether to sell them to Flick or keep them for Paradise Planning...
• Chatted with everyone I ran into, though I never ran into Buck...

• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Got to catalogue some clothing variants I missed at the Able Sisters!
 
(Roseberry)
- Found and assessed my daily fossils (donated two + a serene painting I bought from Redd yesterday)
- Welcomed Melba to the island, she's my first normal this time around ♡
- Found my DIY on the beach, a honeycomb wall
- Found Renée crafting in her house, she taught me how to make an iron garden bench
- Harvested and sold my carrots at Nook's Cranny
- Watered a bunch of flowers, hoping for black hybrids to sprout

The day isn't over yet so I'll hit my rocks and dive for sea creatures in order to pay back my home loan. Resident Services will be closed tomorrow and I want to expand my storage before it's unnaccessible.
