Lo and behold, a week's worth of reports that I failed to post until now. although, technically, it's actually five posts; more on that below.


7/1 (raining)
• Isabelle happily announced that Slider was back in town; later in the day, I attended the show, and he played KK Aria.
• Received a plushie in the mail from in-game Mom.
• Ran around chopping as much wood as I could, ended up breaking four axes in the process. Also broke a shovel by hitting rocks for more crafting materials.
• Chatted with everyone I ran into, and visited Buck at his house (just chilling). He mentioned to me that Pekoe was sick, so I made sure to swing by the store and pick up some medicine for her.
• Accidentally got myself stung by wasps, as my net got hung up on a scarecrow mid-swing... Luckily for me, Kitty had some medicine on hand, which she graciously shared with me. Later on, I had another run in with the wasps, but I actually managed to catch them that time.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to order with pigeon milk today!
• Stocked up on a bunch more customization kits and wrapping paper.
• Crafted some items I'll need for the boardwalk, primarily garden benches. With the excess wood I had on hand, I also made a bunch of items to sell.
• Caught a Walking Leaf, which I will probably use at Planned Paradise at some point in time.
• Found a lost bag near Mathilda's house, turned out to actually belong to her. Since it was a makeup bag (I checked), I figured it could only belong to one of three villagers: Kitty, Francine, or Matilda. I got it right on the first try; she gave me a Victorian dress in thanks.
• Pekoe gave me a basic teacher's desk for bringing her medicine.
• Gathered up all the wedding-month Decor that I could find and put it back into storage.
• Ordered some items I'm going to need from the kiosk in Resident Services, and also ordered some more with miles.
• Removed a couple of unused Custom Designs I had on my phone's memory.

7/2 (raining)
• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 231,613 points, the same as last week. I'm wondering if it'll change once I make some tweaks to it for July...
• Dug up a Scatteroid and a Tremoloid that popped up from yesterday's rain.
• Found a bottle on the beach with instructions inside for making a lily wreath!
• Decided to hit rocks for materials, managed to secure a gold nugget in the process!
• Ended up witnessing a conversation between Pekoe and Mathilda about books along with one between Pekoe and Plucky on how to wake up with ease; apparently, Plucky drinks 12 cups of coffee every day, so drinking it in the morning likely isn't going to fix that problem...
• Chatted with everyone I ran into, found Buck working out in the plaza in front of Resident Services.
• Decided to craft some of the flower items that I hadn't gotten around to making yet, including the lily wreath.
• Ended up ended up having Buck over for a short, visit at my house. He gave me an orange, and I won an Edo-period Merchant outfit off of him in a game of cards. Something in my house is apparently telling Buck I have the taste of a minimalist; looking at my house proves that it's anything but. I have no clue what in the house is giving him that impression.
• Ordered some of the things I'm going to need for the boardwalk idea.
• Rearranged the back room a little bit for July and put out a new door decoration.
• A announcement appeared on the bulletin board for the fishing tourney coming up on the 8th!
• Discovered that Kevin's farewell post has finally disappeared from the bulletin board... Even though even though I have a picture of it stored on my SD card, it was still a bit of a bittersweet moment..
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Ended up visiting Francine at her house for a bit. Won a tee-dress off of her in a card game, and she also gave me an overall dress on my way out.
• Caught a Horned Hercules beetle!
• Decided to chop more wood for what I'm going to need for the boardwalk, made more benches and chairs.
• Finished all of the daily NM+ offers.
• Went to Paradise planning to order some things from Wendell. Ended up finding a bottle on the beach with instructions inside for making a project table!

7/3-7/4

< Due to absolutely HORRIFIC weather conditions Sunday afternoon, my entire neighborhood lost power from 5:30pm Sunday afternoon until 10am Wednesday morning. We had brutal wind speeds, heavy sideways rain, and a bit of hail. Multiple trees got blown over, and the power grid took a pretty bad hit. Last time I remember seeing summer storm like this was almost 5 years ago. My Switch's battery ran out late Sunday night, and with no way to charge it, I couldn't play on either of these days. >

7/5
• There was a visitor at the campsite today; Frank the Parrot (at least, I think he's a parrot? He certainly looks like a parrot...). Isabelle also made the official announcement for Saturday's fishing tourney.
• Received a thank-you gift in the mail from Buck for letting him visit my house on Sunday; a judge's bell.
• Decided to chat with and check in with every villager I could find, seeing as I've been gone for a bit due to the weather. Recieved a recipe for pickled vegetables from Kitty (though I already had it). Was also randomly gifted an attus robe by Plucky.
• Took all my purchases from Sunday out of the mail and put them into storage.
• Dug up a Bubbloid and a Rumbloid that popped up from Sunday's rain. (Too bad the IRL weather that day couldn't have been as calm as the shower on Shione...)
• Found out that Label was visiting; passed her Work Outfit challenge with flying colors, received a pair of Labelle tights.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.
• Found Buck browsing in Nook's Cranny when I went to go sell things, but unfortunately, the clock struck 10:00 p.m. before I could talk to him; I tracked him down to his house to go say hello.

7/6 (late day)
• Isabelle warned us of the risks involved with buying art from shady sources; Redd was back in town. At long last, I finally got my hands on a genuine copy of the rock-head statue!
• Received two tailor's tickets in the mail from Label.
• Received an accessory in the mail from Patty, who thought it would look good on me... It was a paper-bag hood Words WILL be exchanged about this...
• Chatted with everyone I ran into, visited Buck at his house (crafting a pear bed).
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Made some purchases on the Nook Shopping app, then made a few orders with Nook miles.
• Deposited a lot of bells into savings.

7/7 (short day)
• Isabelle mentioned that Leif was here today; but, as usual, I didn't buy anything.
• Took the rock-head statue out of the mail and brought it straight to Blathers (I can't tell you just how happy I am to have finally found a genuine copy of this )
• Took all of yesterday's purchases out of the mail and deposited them into storage.
• Chatted with everyone I ran into; found Buck pumping mad iron on the beach.
• Got startled by falling stars at around 8pm, made wishes where I could.
• Dug up the gyroid fragment from yesterday; retrieved a Bendoid!
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

July 8, 2023

• Got a fake Scary Painting, not a problem because I already have the original and I want the fakes to pad out my catalog.
• My stockpile of fish bait is coming together nicely. What's the best time to do pier fishing to ensure maximal likelihood of getting pier-exclusive fish and not garbage generic-ocean fish?
• I do enjoy that group stretching is in the game, but god I'm going to be glad to remove it from my daily schedule once I get the 50 group stretch achievement and the max level reward.
• Did a round of the fishing tourney.
• Got a Shell Music Box DIY from my daily DIY. Did a Nook Miles Tour, got a Vine Crown DIY.
• While I got the 50 coffees achievement, I'm still going to do my daily coffee.
• Saw a fish shadow today. I knew based off the size it was the Napoleonfish, which is my second-to-last fish for the current season that I need that also isn't a pier-exclusive fish (the other one is a Hammerhead Shark). I'm SO glad I caught it, I would've been really mad if I didn't. I'm glad I already got all of this month's bugs and sea creatures.
• Got another Sable pattern set. I think there's only one left, so that's a daily that can be removed.
• Nat still won't show up to my HHP island. I've had the school built for at least a month now, so that's really annoying, and I've built 6 houses since then, for a total of 12.
• I think that I got a legitimate Solemn Painting from Redd today. So I'll update tomorrow for that!
• Can Cyrus lower his goddamn prices, please? I'm trying to customize everything under the sun and he's gonna be a millionaire.
• Furniture Total Cataloged went from 59% to 60%.
  • Got Housewares cataloged from 58% to 59%.
  • Got Wall-Mounted cataloged from 56% to 59%.
• Clothing Total Cataloged stayed the same, annoyingly. Cataloging clothing has been great because my home storage is full, and all the clothes go straight to my inventory as opposed to storage.
  • Dress-Up went from 43% to 44%, ****ing finally.
  • Headwear went from 43% to 44%.
  • Nothing else changed. I'm really annoyed that for Summer Shopping, there's a surprisingly low amount of summer-exclusive items in the Able Sisters and I'm just getting regular stuff year-round. And Nook's Cranny will not stop selling the Surfboard and Retro Fan.

I haven't posted here in a long time, but I'm back for today.

-Yesterday I did a large amount of material hunting, so today I just focused on getting star fragments. Leo fragments to be specific.

-While collecting star fragments and seashells I caught 5 sharks.

-I sold the sharks.

-Visited Brewster.

-Chrissy is crafting a shell music box, so I'm just going to wait two hours before closing the gate and ending the game.

7/8 (Fishing Tourney)
• ...ended up missing the fishing tourney, which hadn't been my plan (but I had also been playing other video games at the time)
• Chatted with everyone I ran into; found Buck found once again pumping iron, but in the plaza this time.
• Collected star fragments from the beach, found four in all.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster. Got to chat with CJ, since I didn't get to participate today.
• Took a detour to check out the art exhibit and discovered I am only missing ONE painting; count them, ONE! I am so close to completion I can TASTE it!!!

- timetravelled back to may + june to catch a scorpion, that massive giga chad clam (took me like 10 mins to chase them) and a gazami crab amongst other things for blathers!! there's still some stuff i gotta grab from june that i didn't do at the timee
- moved out judy and hunted for villagers - invited cherryyy
- filbert talked about jam missing (timetravelling things) and ya!!
- donated a twinkling painting to redd + bought a painting from him inbetween going from may to june!!

• Early afternoon rain.
• My gyroids haven't grown.
• Daily town DIY is Festival Lantern Set.
• Eloise gave me the DIY for French Fries. Both of these I already have.
• HHP Island DIY was a Ruined Decorated Pillar. Which I already have.
• Mailed two of today's DIYs to my roommate. Got the Popular Pen Pal 50 letters mailed achievement.
• The Solemn Painting from yesterday was a legitimate one!
• Cataloged a few new things for Furniture today but no percentage changes.
• Fashion:
  • Bottoms, I only got the new Long Sailor Skirt, which is another 1.0 item and not a damn seasonal item. That said, Bottoms did go up from 62% to 64%. Which is oddly high.
  • Dress-Up: I only got the new Jockey Uniform, which is another 1.0 item and not a damn seasonal item.
  • Headwear: I only got one missing Tulip hat, which is another 1.0 item and not a damn seasonal item.
  • Shoes: Okay I'm happy that I got the cast because it's a 2.0 item.
• Also got the Bell Ringer achievement! Spent 5,000,000 bells!
• Built Bud, Daisy, Louie, and Yuka's vacation homes today, getting me to 15. Unlocked the ability to DIY items in my house, and then it told me to limit myself to stuff I've built before. Which is great, I've been trying to make sure to do that, lmao. I am currently waiting to unlock countertops, so that I can include them in my restaurant, which is on hold.
• Found out with the DIY, I need to build everything to use it. So I paid off the current loan to expand house to 800 storage slots. Gonna bumrush so much crafting tomorrow.

10/07 (TT'ed to 10 June + 11 June, then to the current date)

- caught an atlas moth, rainbow stag, great purple emperor + donated them to blathers. also caught a saw shark + whale shark (what an absolute chonker). (finished collecting all the bugs, sea creatures and fish for june!!)
- also donated the perfect painting i bought yesterday
- gave a gift to rowan from victoria, told him not to try it on in the hopes that he never wears it. got a raglan shirt in return, put into storage (quite cute)
- jammed to K.K. Samba that K.K. Slider played
- visited brewster for coffee x2!
- opened a DIY message bottle and got a peach jam card
- sold unwanted stuff at the drop off box
- gave a scallop to Pascal
- bought extra shovels, star nets and fishing rods from nook's cranny

current date: visited Harv's island to try and get Leif to sort the weeds out, but there's not enough rn ! ;_; + bought a detailed painting from Redd

10th July, 11PM-1AM
- No news today!
- Wished on some shooting stars
- Gave a pearl to Hamlet, got his photo! (He's been on my island since December!) 🖼
- Cooked some meals for everyone on the island
- Had a little musical performance with Tangy (feat. the shooting stars)
- Kiki buys a dace off of me (her facial expressions r so cute!!)
- Stung by wasps...
- Del said Plucky's catchphrase was "worrying" and "upsetting" (her catchphrase was "loved one") so I changed it to "bestie"
- Went along the beach picking seashells!
- Added a log stool and camp stove to my campsite area! (up until now, it had no decorations around it) 🏕
- Built a snowboy (wrongly)
- Added a neat little park near Able Sisters, added a custom sign that resembles the famous gold and white dress (gold and white btw)
- Collected my first Spinosaurus fossil piece! (I wanna make a nice big spinosaurus fossil display next to the museum!)
- Spent time with Francine in the bug section of the museum
- Designed the exterior of my home for the first time ever! (Unlocked this option recently as part of the upstairs expansion, love it!!)
- Completed the final "Shady Shakedown" Nook Miles stamp!

I started playing again yesterday and I...

• Cleaned up Halloween/fall decorations (I haven't played since last fall)
• Put the fountain and town lounge area back together
• Rearranged flowers for summer
• Continued the long process of laying a glowing moss path down the beach (which takes forever because I have to plant and pick them back up until they are all the version I want)
• Added a higher cliff to my cliff diving area (might change this later because it looks a bit awkward but is tons of fun to dive off of)
• Decided to convert the abandoned witch castle in the forest into an abandoned castle with vegetation and flowers growing around and within it.
• Decided to order a few damaged double-edged swords to place around the abandoned castle and one for pirate beach

• Gathered a buncha seashells.
• Got "I Love You" in the mail.
• Billy gave me the DIY for Carrot-Tops Curry today, this is a new one!
• Customized enough Gyroids to go from 45% cataloged to 51%.
• Niko gave me DIYs for countertops and pillars, finally.
• Got a DIY for a Glowing-Moss Boulder. Which I already have.
• Pretty sure I got my last Sable pattern.
• Labelle gave me the sporty theme today, which was very easy to do.
• Got the top of Clam and Collected.
• Clothing overall went from 61% to 62%.
  • Tops went from 65% to 66%.
  • Dress-Up went from 44% to 46%.
  • Headwear went from 44% to 46%.
  • Socks went from 50% to 52%.
  • Shoes went from 84% to 86%.
• DIYs I made today were the Water Flooring, Summer-shell rug, Shellfish Pochette, and a bunch of fishing bait. Will update later when my Switch charges with other stuff I made.

- visited brewster for coffee. donated a saw stag to blathers. visited redd's boat and bought a scenic painting. turned out that i'd already donated a detailed painting to blathers
- put stuff into storage, sold some hybrids at the drop off box
- dug up a wallopoid + laseroid
- ordered plant partitions from nook shopping
- hornsby gave me the DIY recipe for medicine when i hit him up after i got stung by wasps

Thankfully, since they were shorter days, the reports aren't very long. My work on the boardwalk has been on put hold, though I intend to get back to it ASAP.

• Today's HHA S-rank puts us at 232,373 points. They gave me a compliment about my accent wall in the basement, which is a compliment I haven't gotten before. Here I thought the accent wall would be mentioned in the back room, but apparently not...
• Chatted with everyone I ran into, but never ran into Buck...
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

7/10
• Isabelle mentioned that Saharah was visiting today; as usual, I bought the esteemed camel out.
• Chatted with everyone I ran into; visited Buck at his house who appeared to be taking a breather today. After a few days of pumping iron, I'd say he deserves the break.
• Visited the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster, got to see Timmy drop by.

7/11
• There was a visitor at the campsite today: Ken the rooster.
• Accidentally covered today's money tree spot due to distracted button-mashing, so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to replace it.
• Found C.J. wandering around near The Snack Shack, accepted and completed his Big-Time fishing challenge. Managed to catch two Barred knifejaws and a red snapper, so I got paid almost 20,000 bells total.
• Caught a scorpion skulking around in the park, and then found another one outside Mathilda's house almost a minute apart from each other.
• Found a gyroid fragment on the beach!
• Mathilda was thinking about moving away, but I was thankfully able to change her mind. I chatted with her for a bit afterwards to console her.
• Chatted with everyone else I ran into, but never ran into Buck once...
• Accidentally took too long running around and didn't get to make it to the store before it closed...however, I did still go to the Roost and ordered a cup from Brewster.

- donated a horned elephant, horned atlas and blue weevil beetle to blathers. the scenic painting i bought yesterday was fake heh
- gave rory, leopold and cheri wrapped fruit
- sold unwanted hybrids and other stuff at the drop off box
- dug up fossils and a dootoid, picked up tree branches and weeds
- caught a tilapia for cherry, got a hula top in return
- cheri came and visited my house
- visited harv's island, saw what redd was selling but both were fakes. got katrina to bless my frendoship with filbert
- designed a plant-themed vacation home for norma
- updated my dream address
- visited hornsby who was hanging out with rowan!! SO CUTE!! gave hornsby a wrapped brown bamboo lamp and i got his photo in return
