What did you cook or bake today?

Yeah the Daiya shreds are pretty gooey and oily. All vegan cheese is oily, because it’s mostly oils. You should try Violife. Miyoko’s just came out with shreds too. They’re pretty good.
We'll have to explore some other brands but oily or not, Daiya has been treating us well. Our grocery store doesn't have a ton of different options but we'll definitely take a look next time. They have more vegan meat replacers than cheese substitutes.

I tried making a frittata for the first time and I say it did turn out pretty great.
 
I'm 32 and I just cooked mac and cheese with dinosaur shaped pasta. I want to say it was for my kids, but they're both in bed XD
 
the other day i made this really nice meal of pork chops, jalapeno potato casserole and green beans in black bean sauce with american gravy !! yesterday i recreated panda express orange chicken and it was very tasty. today i made a spicy noodle soup.

Any reason you decided to make tiny pancakes?

I haven't eaten yet today - but last night I made Beyond Beef burgers with turkey bacon, chipotle aioli and a fried egg. The side dish was garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes. :9
 
Nothing but I got some great pad Thai takeout and supported a local restaurant I love!

I baked flapjacks the other day, but turned out disastrous. I thought I'd be smarter than the recipe and double the ingredients to come out with a bigger batch. With my luck, I forgot to double the oats and ended up with a tray of a bubbly sugary syrup concoction.
