What do you do to keep fit?

I'm not even sure. I lost like 10 pounds recently (I was 115 but last time I checked I was 104. Like, th).

At work I prob burn most of the calories I eat. I'm always walking around briskly, moving fast, I sometimes lift boxes, stuff of that nature. I try to limit what I eat, such as eating more home made foods instead of Dunkin Donuts for lunch alot. I generally don't eat bad, I have my white and red meats, occasional broccoli. I also try to limit the amount of sweets I eat. I really love sweets, so I limit myself to 1 dessert-like item a day. There was a time that I was so tired after work for like a week that I would est less and forget about dessert at all those days.

I love going for runs, but the most important thing for me is just watching how much I eat. I never really paid attention to my portion sizes and I've realized that I feel full eating less! I also don't sacrifice foods I like (full fat, butter, etc), I just eat less of it!

i go to the gym with my friends.. i think it's working cuz i've been feeling more stronger but i don't want to be super beefed out so. i've never actually gone on a diet but i might go on a healthy food diet.

I used to workout for like an hour or two when I wake up in the morning. Now stopped doing that. Life has been crazy since earlier this year, especially after mid summer, and all I do since then to keep fit is to eat as much as I can because or else I easily lose weight, which isn't nice at all - especially if I wanna keep my butt the way it is.

I walk my dogs with my mom as well as work out at home 'cause going to the gym would make me die inside

3+ years and still basically true, i still don't like gym environments one bit.

i work out more though and i try to walk/bike places instead of driving although now that it's freezing cold outside i am confined to the indoors.

i also cut out a lot of junk food!

Same about the dogs been doing it 4+ years, it takes about 40 minutes. I have never been to a gym, what is the environment like?

tbh it's not really that bad in itself but it can be a lot of pressure if you have any self-image or anxiety issues. it's not nearly as bad if you have a workout buddy/group or even a personal trainer with you but if you're by yourself it can be very overwhelming.

This may sound crazy, but honestly, I was kind of afraid to work out in a gym because I thought everyone would stare at me and give me strange looks while I used the equipment... I have an inferiority complex.

All you need to keep fit is a cat.

The Cat Workout.

Start with sit ups.

After getting up 50 times to see if the cat has reached the center of the earth yet, with the all-night-long digging marathon, you can take a breather.

No. No you can't. She wants breakfast, and if you're not fast enough, she'll destroy what's left of your $1500 sofa, which by now, is just a really expensive scratching post.

NOW you can sit down and catch your breath.

No. The cat wants to play ball. What this really means is she'll watch YOU roll the ball through her cat tunnel and back again, usually about 70 times, until she's tired of watching you.

Now she'll fall asleep. And that concludes the cat workout up until 9.00am where you pretty much repeat everything again. And again.

And again. ^_^

that's a lot of peoples' fear with gyms, but the truth is everyone there is minding their own business and paying attention to their own workout.

I see, to be honest I think everyone there would be self conscious.

I try to go to the gym and do lots of cardio. As of lately I haven't really been so I've been fasting a bit in order to try to control what I eat. I try not to eat too much fast food and stick to healthy salads.

I hope all the walking, dancing and swimming I do will always be enough to burn all the candy I eat everyday, because if my metabolism ever slows down I am f****d. I won't ever stop eating this much sugar lol

Housework, hiking, biking, and stretching. I don't have a gym nearby, so I work with what I've got.

- I usually walk from my house to the front of house complexes to go to college which is around 400m and get myself a driver after that
- I do some house chores like mopping, sweeping, etc.
- I occasionally do some weightlifting too

This isn't much in return of keeping me fit, but at least i do something to keep me fit lol

Trying to eat healthy, and since I have a job where I basically walk or run around that's why exercise since I don't really have time afterwards to do anything properly lol

Lol, I don't really do anything to keep fit. I remember playing outside with my neighbors several months ago, but nowadays I usually just stay inside, mainly watching TV and or surfing the Internet.

Actually, I do dance around the room pretty often. I just put in my earphones and listen to some songs. The dance jam can last up to an hour, lmao.

I go to the gym but not as often as I'd like ... working until 5:30 means I don't get home until past 6pm, by that time I just want to curl up in bed esp on winter nights when its dark and cold, so I'm down to like once a week if that lmao .

I work on the 4th floor of an office building and i try to make sure i walk the stairs each time i go out and come back in so thats something too
