The temperature this week reached 39?C and it's just been ridiculously warm lately? I know it's spring in other places but here it always feels like summer.

The other day I braved the heat and walked to the convenience store a block and a half away just to bask in the cool air conditioned blessedness for a few minutes. What do you guys do when it's super hot out but you're also trying to save money?

It can get up to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37.7778 degrees Celsius) here during the summer and even before then, so probably wear white t-shirts, go to a swimming pool somewhere and swim, or just stay inside. :)

During summer days, I open the front door and the backyard door to try and circulate some cool air inside. If it is windy enough, I sometimes get a nice breeze!

I usually just stay inside because we have air conditioning, but when it's really hot I like to drink cold drinks, eat cold food like ice cream, and take a shower to wash off that sticky, sweaty feeling.

as much as i can go to the beach and the lake! my parents house has a pool and air conditioning, so i enjoy that when i'm in my hometown too while school isn't on.

I... melt...
I don't have very good tolerance for heat, so I'll wear a tank top and shorts and get the windows open. I stick a glass of cold water or something in the freezer for a bit sometimes, too, and that way it's nice and cool!

Stay inside and wear barely anything while drinking a ton of cold drinks.
That is mostly what I did when I did not have the air conditioning at the time.

I live in a really warm and humid place, so I know how bad the heat can be, but I do have my ways of making it a little...less dreadful, I suppose. I just try to stay indoors as much as I possibly can, and chill in front of a fan or an air conditioner. Maybe keep some cold drinks and ice cream and such around, and try to take showers often especially when I have to go outside a lot. It also helps if I wear as little as I can, only wearing stuff like shorts and tank tops.

keep the ac on at all times, eat a bunch of ice pops, try to open my windows but there's no point because there's no air blowing in :(

I also try to not sleep with my blanket but I get scared that somethings will grab me so I sleep with a blanket over me anyways. sigh!

Oh man hard same i can't sleep without a blanket even though it makes me feel like I'm melting and if i stick my feet out from under the blanket the monsters might get me?? So i go to bed with the lights on and hope my brother's still up to turn it off after i fall asleep

Well. Right now there's no point in an AC as of now. So when its 70-80 I turn on the fan in my room on high, but it really doesn't do much sadly.

Now, at night, I keep my fan on high, but take cold showers. And I know it's odd, but I take a cold rag on my feet to keep cool, put a sock in it and rub the cold rag on the sock too. It helps.

usually i open my window and dress lightly, i don't really use fans or anything bc i'm lazy and i like fresh air. i also like to have a nice cold drink woohoo

Suffer, suffer, and suffer more. The heat is intolerable. I hate it.

I cannot agree more. Texas summers are brutal most years. I'm not looking forward to the heat (especially since it's already been 90F+ in freaking April).
