Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
If it doesn't match my style I either sell it or see if one of my friends would like it. The gifts aren't personalized so I don't feel bad getting rid of them
It goes in the storage! Or I guess sometimes it goes to the next person I see. Sometimes I make the mistake of giving a gift back to the same villager oof (':
If it is something I have/don't want, and isn't worth selling, I have literally thrown gifts in the garbage right in front of the gifter, LOL! Mean, I know, but they told me I could throw it out if I didn't want it...
Whenever my villagers give me either clothing or furniture that I already own, I usually sell the items at the Nook's Cranny drop-off box to get some bells. The bells that I receive through the drop-off box don't give much profit into my savings, but I don't mind getting a small amount of bells since I have lots of bells deposited into my ABD. If a villager gives me an item that I never had before, I toss the item into my wooden storage shed to use it later on for decorating purposes or something else.
It sounds really cruel, but my villagers tend to give me pretty bad stuff, or stuff I already have and don't need, so I tend to just sell it at Nooks :'D
I am at a slight advantage due to my poor memory (or attention) skills.
I simply store their gifts, then periodically, I purge my storage of junk at Nooks, I don't remember who gave me what.
