I think it's dumb if you spent thousands and thousands of dollars just to make your face or body look better. There are people who have had 100+ surgeries just to look perfect. This woman tried to make her butt bigger and she got paralyzed from butt-down. I only agree with it if you have had some kind of event like having a noticeable scar and wanting to remove it or a crooked nose, etc.

The dumb part is if you do literally hundreds of them as in some celebrities .-. I don't care either way not my problem lmao

I don't really care do however many you want, not my issue
Anything with "surgery" in the title scares me I can't stand needles, cutting, etc.

I wouldn't want a big butt, I'd just do small things, I'd never do that many surgeries, that's just crazy.

idc really u do u lol i just think there's a certain extent to it until it starts looking bad on a person

whatever makes you happy imo, my mom had her nose done before i was born because it was kinda crooked & that stopped her being insecure. but i guess be careful what you get done, it's easy to regret it

I'm really against it I don't no why people would undergo surgery unless they absolutely had too,its not really the done thing where I'm from☺

I think it's fine, as long as it'd make you feel more confident about yourself, in fact I want to get a nose job since I have a bump on my nose and have been bullied for it since I was like 10...

The only thing is, you have to remember that you can't aim for perfection (because it doesn't exist) and get addicted to plastic surgery (like Michael Jackson).

I don't really care since the government isn't putting funds in it, so we don't have to pay for them with taxes. It's their money, so they should do what they want with it. I personally wouldn't pay for it and risk getting it botched up by a person who claims to be a professional (some inject concrete and other harmful substances).

I don't judge. And I think minor surgeries are fine :)

Edit: I wouldn't really consider this plastic surgery, but I have an overbite ; w ; and I plan to get it corrected one day. I love my jaw, but the overbite is too noticeable in my side profile TT^TT

Changing my facial features is something I personally don't think I would ever do. But who am I to judge someone else who wants it? But I think it's important to be careful bc it's easy to get addicted to chasing perfection(which doesn't exist) and it's easy to regret if it doesn't turn out.

i probably wouldn't want any plastic surgery done, myself, but i'm not gonna go around acting high and mighty if someone else does. if getting surgery done makes someone feel more confident in themselves, it's not my nor anyone else's business to judge. (provided they're not being pressured/forced into it and they're doing it safely.)

I think it's sad (and tbh also infuriating) that we live in a world that makes people feel so upset with parts of their body that they'd spend so much money on trying to make themselves look different. You can't divorce the procedures from the reasons that people get them, nothing happens in a vacuum, blah blah so it's just... it's really upsetting. There are practical reasons for wanting certain things done as well but I think those are mostly things like fixing "damage" to your body (car accidents, burns, whatever) - it's not my place to judge individuals who want plastic surgery. I'm more critical of our culture.

Although I normally preach the whole "body acceptance > body modification" thing, plastic surgery can be helpful seeing as it is used after "regular" surgery (like a deviated septum or facial reconstruction).
But yeah if you want to change your appearance it's none of my business, more power to you, just know that there are risks and consequences like everything else.
Stay safe y'all, no matter what you decide to do I support you!

I mean, I guess I don't really care. Sometimes I wish my body looked a certain way, but not badly enough that I'd get some life altering surgery that may go horribly wrong, or maybe I'll hate the end result anyways. But everyone has the freedom to do as they please, as long as it doesn't affect other people I don't care much. You wanna get plastic surgery? Go for it. You wanna kill someone? Please don't. That kinda thing.

I have nothing against it, let people do what they want with their bodies. If they have the money, they can spend it how they want and it's no one else's business. Plus it's not going to waste if it's something that'd make them legitimately happier.

Maybe try to spread self-love rather than calling people "********" for not being happy with their image, just a thought.

I mean if you got the money and you really want to do it, why not?

just make sure you're actually doing it for yourself

I don't care about it. What other people do with their skin is none of my business. I won't be getting it in my lifetime unless I get in something like a car accident, though, and I'd just get it to turn myself back into what I looked like.
