Being able to place furniture outside really opened up the possibilities of what we can do with our towns, like having a campfire on the beach.

What kind of area do you want to make in your town?

I think I would like to have a sporty spot like a place for beach volleyball with a basketball court nearby. :lemon:

I'm not sure yet, but I know I want to make a hotel based on the Continental in John Wick.

Hey, a cemetery would probably fit with the theme. :D

I want to make a bonfire area on the beach. Hopefully the cafe still goes on our island because i want to put table and chairs outside the cafe. I am so excited to have an actual yard. I love the swing item that was showed off so that will be in my yard. I could go on I have so many ideas.

i kind of want to make a lil park/playground, or maybe a pool area in the summer.

I'm hoping to create an Alien fantasy planet! I love fantasy so let's hope I can create something decent this time ✧︎*。٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧︎*。

A park with a garden around it.
Not sure what I'm going to do everywhere else yet. :)

I would like to include a lighthouse on my island somewhere. Since GameCube, I like placing them within my town. That task from Tortimer was always so cool!

I might aim for something rustic themed, since a lot of the stuff shown so far is pretty rustic-looking. Might just make one big rustic garden or something. Not sure.

i don't have a set theme in mind but i do want to change up my island with the changing of the seasons.

maybe in summer i'll make a resort themed island, and in the winter an icy fairy wonderland, and in the spring a lush orchard full of rustic natural materials, and in the fall a vintage style fantasy world. it also makes a difference to me whether or not public works projects or something equivalent are returning too.

i want a light house and maybe an undercover area for the beach with some lounge chairs and tables, simple but relaxing <3

i want a playground and park c: not sure about the rest. i have to see more of the new items to see what i can do :p

i?m looking forward to making little backyards for myself and my villagers and fencing our houses off - i also want a little picnic area somewhere and even a little campfire near the beach

My favorite part of NL and best aesthetic was making yards for each villager out of bush starts and PWPs and flowers and such. I think NH is gonna give me so much more freedom and ease to do this. It looks like fences can go right up against houses, or at least the inclusion of crafting fences will make it so much easier for me to keep this up.

IT give each villager like a little moment, or I can make like a big neighborhood by enclosing a bunch of houses around a fence... I just like to make really relaxing and cute spots to visit around town and I think NH is gonna give so much more creativity for this

Not sure yet but I want a dynamic town. I mean I want to change it based on seasons :) like in fall scarecrows, hayballs and pumkins etc. and a cool bonfire area on the beach! Oh I also want fire torches along the way in summer! There are soooo many possibilitys. Maybe to many to decide xD

that gave me chills... I love the idea of changing on seasons, I also love scarecrows lol

My NL town is quite rustic, so I want to go full cute on my NH file in the way I couldn't before. It looks like the game has expanded its potential to support that aesthetic even more, so I'm really excited to put it to use!

I plan on adding seasonal items to my town, but my main theme for my town is going to be more of a victorian/rococo style, so I'm hoping to have a lot more Victorian styled furniture. I remember when I was little playing wild world with my cousins and we would always talk about things we would like to see in the game. (we actually thought about writing a letter to Nintendo with our ideas) One was swimming which got introduced in New Leaf and the other was placing furniture outside! So I plan on having my own little backyard and sitting area with fencing around it. I'm so excited about this game and its really cool to see things you thought about when you were little come to fruition!

I definitely want to create yards for all my villagers! I'm not sure what else to do; I'll probably just put some benches, streetlamps, and hammocks around the island and whatever else I find that appeals to me. In previous games I've always gone in hoping to make my house look super pretty but I just end up throwing in an eclectic, uncoordinated bunch of everything I find that I think looks nice, so I have a feeling my island will get the same treatment.

Something I do think would be fun, though, is if they give us the right items, I could divide my town into a bunch of different areas and do a different theme in each one. Like one area could be tropical, one could be cozy and foresty, another could be magical fairy-themed, and another could be steampunk (really hoping for Diana and Wolfgang's PC cookie items to be added in)! I don't know what items we'll have to work with though, since most of the themed furniture items in NL don't appeal to me that much, so I hope we get a lot of new items added in.

Regardless, I really want to make a bunch of cute little areas around my island, so I'm super excited to see what we're able to make! :D

I'm defintately having a cemetery and a hotel.
