im sorry if this was already discussed in some way but i only just noticed this myself so i thought id like your opinions about this!
in the very short trailer for the direct we see the roost sign but it also has a different sign next to the coffee

a friend of mine said it could be some kind of hotel maybe where (old) npcs will have a room and you can visit them or something? what do you think? maybe its the gyroid museum?

the little brown shapes inside do make me think more of a gyroid exhibit or storage area, especially since they're different sizes and heights -- just like gyroids are -- but who's to say. could be anything.

thats true! i first though they were numbers but not sure what they would mean then 🤔

Hotel would be cute or a bed and breakfast 😍 like the Roost would be the cafe the guests come down to for a breakfast and coffee.

oh, now that you've said numbers, it does sort of look like it says 126 or 128. a room number? although i can't see them adding a hotel into the museum. it'd make more sense as a separate building. it could be gyroid storage capacity? or it just looks like a number and isn't.

I agree that exhibit room numbers seem likely. Maybe we donate bells at that stand to open The Roost, but we can also pay for exhibit rooms there or otherwise manage them.

Although I'd definitely love it if we got a big bed 'n breakfast with Brewster.

My first thought when I looked at the symbol was that it looked like a greenhouse. Maybe a conservatory or sunroom where we can enjoy our coffee among plants and possibly visiting villagers or other characters. Maybe there could be new plants to grow in there.

I think it's more likely that it's museum rooms to display/store items, like in New Leaf, but that was my idea. ^o^;>

Going off the gyroid exhibit/storage idea, maybe the possible number is the number of gyroid types? If that's the case and it says 126 then it might mean that a few got cut, but I could also see the number being 136, which would mean a handful were added since New Leaf.

They look like a room number on a building. It could be an additional room in the museum. The number looks like room 126.

Woah, I didn't eve notice that 😲

I highly doubt it'd be a hotel, though. That's just never been a thing in Animal Crossing games and I can't imagine they'd throw it in, considering the other things they could add instead. I would guess a museum gift shop/gyroid exhibit/upgraded or new shop. Of course, that's just my opinion, and I could be wrong. Bottom line is I'm not getting my hopes up for something THAT cool 😝

...And there's also a chance it's just a random decoration. Never know with Nintendo 😕 It could also represent the other exhibits, as if it's pointing visitors to the other places in the museum (which... now that I think about, could very well be it).

Oh wow, good catch! All of these ideas make me so excited!

I would love for it to be something about gyroids, though I can't tell how that symbol would represent them. It looks like mountains. The little brown shapes look like numbers or letters from the fake alphabet you see elsewhere on the game.

oooh another friend of mine just said something like a casino 🤔 maybe with minigames and even multiplayer games?
i really love all your ideas.
i dont want to hype it up too much tho, it could just be a little gift shop where you can buy like 2 items haha

This is my thought too! A hotel / inn or a bed and breakfast with the coffee shop.

Either option sounds awesome! 😍

It’s the Blue Mountain coffee logo. Looks like mountain peaks. I doubt there’s anything but coffee to be had in there.

Remember the NL Museum had those 4 'display' rooms...I'm hoping they haven't returned because I found those useless for the most part...I just kept my fortune cookie prizes in there.

The symbol just look like a quick summary of what Brewster's logo is. From the get-go, the Brewster's logo doesn't describe much other than green pigeon with a red mug. For any new players, they might be like, "huh?" Green pigeon peg enjoys his red cup.

So then underneath are the icons describing the Brewster logo. Coffee beans = coffee and red cup. The building structure indicates it's a cafe plus something else like a bakery or hookah lounge (just kidding).

That'd be my guess.
