What is your favourite Christmas song/carol?

All of them! “I’ll be home for Christmas” makes me feel melancholic so it’s that one for now.

Probably Winter Wonderland and Silent Night, but I also like A Holly Jolly Christmas and Silver and Gold by Burl Ives

I'm partial towards "The First Noel" because of positive childhood memories. I've also always thought "Auld Lang Syne" has a really pretty melody (although that's more New Year's-related than Christmas)

As for my least favourite song - I find "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" to be boring and overdone.

It may come as no surprise with my avatar and signature pic, but my favorite Christmas songs are from the 1966 How the Grinch Stole Christmas special. You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch is hands down the best, but Trim Up the Tree is cute and upbeat, and Welcome Christmas does give me a very uplifting feeling.

Other than that, I love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I can't really name my favorite song from them since I just let the album play and never check the titles, but there really isn't a bad one in the bunch.

I really like o holy night, its so beautiful

I also like last christmas, underneath the tree, and wonderful christmas time

it's always been my family's tradition to listen to the chipmunk's christmas album while putting up the christmas tree/decorations so those are always super nostalgic for me haha

(no why are these so old it hasnt been that long has it)
additionally the artwork for "christmas eve and other stories" and "the christmas attic" specifically rocks my socks off

I really like Carol of the Bells I'm a fan of this mashup.

I like a lot of Pentatonix older Christmas song covers. I haven't listen to any of the new stuff in recent years so I can't judge on that

Not really a Christmas song but it was on their Christmas album

We Three Kings

This Christmas (preferably sung by soul/r&b artists)
Otis Redding - Merry Christmas, Baby
Aly and AJ - Not This Year (bubblegum pop but in the form of an anti-holiday song lol)
Destiny's Child - Opera of the Bells
Mariah Carey - O Holy Night
Christina Aguilera - Angels We Have Heard on High

For me, it's generally about WHO is singing, not WHAT is being sung.

This will always be my favorite Christmas song/movie. Judy Garland did it flawlessly.

For me it's Dolly Parton's Hard Candy Christmas. A little sad, but hopeful too.

A sentimental favorite though is "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" because what child hasn't wished for a wild animal for pet at some point? 😆

Oh my god, I forgot about that song. I love it too! 🦛

Going a bit goofy, but has anyone heard "All I Want For Christmas Is A Goat"?

Currently working on getting it downloaded and burned to CD so I can torment gift my younger brothers. :)

Wonderful Christmastime is probably my favourite, but I don't mind most of the songs on the radio around now.

I really love the "Do You Hear What I Hear?" Song but I forgot which artist's version I love the most, well the name of the artist lol.

Saw some people who mentioned "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee here, I honestly prefer more the version from Mel Smith & Kim Wilde.

Another favorite of mine would be this one. Always found the song pretty cool when I was younger.

And yeah, I also do kinda like "Last Christmas", although it's more a love-hate situation tbh.
